  1. Have no idea why too. I've tried 2 of the more colourful variety(those yellow/purple/blue) typeadn they perished within a few days. My common blue one is still surviving though. Any idea whts their lifespan like?
  2. I think most LFS will have them. AM always had some when i visited them. Im not sure if you can buy them in pharmacies though,
  3. Erm, i tried searching live aquaria but didn't manage to find it. Maybe some other reefers can advice?
  4. Hehe, im referring to the TM one. Hrmz, guess they didn't bother and neglected their tank. Like that condition still dare to show to potential customers? Anyway glad that your tank is doing well. Oh, i saw this 3FT setup @ a shop in s'goon going at $3500. Lousy tank, lousy LS, lousy corals and they still dare to put $3500! ZzzZzZ
  5. Do you have any reactors? For any marine system, carbon and some anti-phosphate media are highly recommanded. If you have space, leave a compartment for some marco-algae. Helps in nutrient exporting
  6. Erm, if we are referring to the same fish, no...i do not think its reef safe, asked a few LFS before.
  7. Hrmz, if you get a package from the LFS, you can request they set up the stuff for you. But then you would have missed out on the fun of the setting up part. Maybe you can get them to setup the equipment for you and you can do the scaping yourself.
  8. Haha, i have not ask him for any tips yet but well, till now, hes the only person who remembers my name. That alone speaks volumes. Plus, he'll feed any LS you want upon request most of the times. Great service! Too bad its so far away, not very accessible to me.
  9. Pm me the price for a 3 FT too, thanks!~
  10. His stuff arent cheap but at least hes super friendly. I would pay a higer price anytime rather than go to a shop with #*%#% attitude. Btw, is the shop at GP really that bad? I've not been there before.
  11. LoL...can i join in the queue please?
  12. Thanks for the compliments....im still quite new in this hobby. Now trying my best to keep everything alive and prospering. Pretty suprised myself that i managed to keep everything reasonably well with my "not-so-hightech" equipments. Still in a learning curve and hope by the time i can afford a tank upgrade, i would have enough experience to create my "perfect" tank.
  13. Yeah, have to agree thats it quite expensive as compared to the normal food we feed our LS. But well, im just using it to entice my 2 leopard warrses to feed more. After that will switch back to normal BS(enriched with garlic and Vitechem). Just take it as a occasional treat for the fishes lo!~
  14. Hrmz, kind of expected ain't it? Is it just algae? How are the corals and LS doing in the 24G?
  15. LoL....all the fishes love the OtakOtak...the green bean paste haven't try yet.
  16. They'll be open from 12. But it'll be safer if you go there around 1230....
  17. Erm, the leopards dig into the sandbed when they want to sleep. Haha, other than that, they are getting used to their new surroundings and can for the most part of the day be seen swimming in the open. They are beautiful@~! BTs, especially tiny ones are prone to itch, they are quite timid fishes, a little bit and they'll charge and hide themsleves in the LRs. If your BT is already weak, maybe try put in in a betta holding box to shield it from your other tank mates to enable it to feed peacefully while recovering. In the box, you could maybe provide something for it to hide. A small piece of PVC pipe would be fine. Is it still feeding? If it is, it has a good chance to recover. Oh, i've been feeding my LS with garlic and vitamins enriches food and i think thats helps too. Good luck with your BT!~
  18. Agree with Marinesavy that taking the mrt/lrt is much easier if you wanna go to AM. Alight at Thanggam like bro colin said, after you alight from the lrt, go down the stairs to the 2nd level of the station. Exit the gate and on your left hand side, you'll see this little bridge. Cross the bridge, turn left and follow the path (with private housing on both sides). Right in front of you will be Jalan Kayu, turn right after you've passed the church. AM is just 2 shops away. Sounds complicated?
  19. Oh sheesh, sorry for your lost....i guess firefish do not go well with agressive fishes. Thats what held back me from getting them, i love the purple one....
  20. Think Am has a few pieces left. Give them a call to comfirm!~
  21. Harlequin? Haha, thought you were going to specialise in Rics?
  22. I would advice against using any LS to cycle your tank. Not that they cant survive, but why use LS when uncured LRs will do the same?
  23. Hrmz, do you have enough hiding places in the LRS for them? They are very timid fishes and not really suitable to keep with aggressive fishes. And oh, they have a reputation for jumping out of the tank too. Did yours jump out or died in the tank?
  24. Hrmz, how small were the BTs when you bought them? They are notorious for their ability to catch itch. Try get specimens of at least 1.5 IN, in my opinion they are easier.
  25. Ermz, just a word of advice. Some sellers do not respond very well to others who intrude people's thread and try sell their own stuff. Maybe you can start your own thread? No offence intended. Just a friendly word of advice.
