Wow....thats scary. Come to think of it, wonder where my blue linka is. It isn't as active as compared to my red fromia. Doesn't move around really that much....maybe its simply lazy.

Oh, my solar wrasse steals food from my suns too. Just charge in and bite the food. The shrimps will attempt to steal the food too. What i normally do to reduce this is to feed my LS till they are full before feeding my suns. Maybe you can cover your suns with something during feeding so that your fishes cant get to them.

Okayz...i'll stick to BS for my LS and Mysis for my suns then. You everyday stay up so late just to feed your suns? Really admire your level of commitment. By the way, you keep your tank lights on till so late?

Wah, tonight? Read that u feed your suns in the middle of the night. At that time, i'll proberbly be asleep and my tanks lights off. Haha, i just fed 3 cubes of brine shrimps for my suns...wonder if they are full. Will increase it to 5 cubes tomorrow. What i do is pour in some marine snow/aquaz phytoplanton to make the suns open up abit first and then feed them. Its lots of work, but the satisfaction of seeing them opened up and greeting me with those huge polyps are definately worth it!

I don't think a dead firefish will cause your system to crash especially when you have powerful skimmers like yours. Monitor your shrimps, they'll most proberbly be the 1st ones to go after dead fishes.

From Live Aquaria = Toadstool Mushroom Leather Corals require medium to high lighting combined with medium to strong water movement. For continued good health, they will also require the addition of iodine, strontium, and other trace elements to the water. Hope that helps abit.

Hrmz, in-sump type means you can sumerge the UV in the sump? I do not have a sump, just relying on my cannister alone to do all the work so cant stress it anymore.

Hrmz, i do not forsee any problems about keeping soft and LPs together. Where did you get the idea that they shouldn't be placed together? ots of reefers have both of them in a single tank. I have both and they are all doing fine.

Nope...i do not have a UV. Might add 1 in the future. Heard it helps abit in keeping the water clear too? Im only running a cannister (connected to a chiller)....wouldn't want to add a UV and stress out the poor cannister.
