Yes....once the clams get used to it, they won't close even if fishes brushes against them. How long have the clams been in there? Don't shift them too much, let them settle down and they'll get used to all the activity around them.

i second that. Removing your LW to a tank w/o a sandbed might stress them out. Just leave it in your main tank, let it get used to your surrounding and it'll come out by itself when it feels safe.

Erm, do you have atanic lights? In my experience, some if not most zoos will look much ncier under atanic. My red zoos look brown under daylight.

Yeah, it was sold out at Henry's the last time i asked. He recommanded soaking the cylopeeze for a while before feeding to enable them to sink and not float on the surface of your tank.
