Haha, sorry if i sounded unfriendly or anything like that. No offence intended. Peace. Hehe. Im dosing aquapharm Zoxan Two. Suppose to colour up the corals and encourage them to grow. Oh, helps coralline to grow too...
Oh, theres this ammonia detector by seachem which has a sticker that changes colour as the ammonia level gets higher. I think it's pretty useful and might help prevent future cases of undected ammonia spike. Glad to hear your tank is better, FAC chairman huh?
Like i said, he should be happy....like upgrade from hdb to landed property...LoL...anyway, nice meeting you personally. Next time might need your help if i ever decide to setup a SPS tank....
Like copperband said, theres nothing you can add into your tank that lets you add fish instantly without proper cycling. The more patience you have, the more likely you'll succeed in this hobby. There are lots of shops at the pasir ris farmway area, you'll likely find everything you need there. Theres AM in jalan kayu too. Maybe u can start a new thread in the "new to marine aquaria" forum so that reefers can guide you along the way. This isnt really the correct place...
Whats FAC? U all actually have a reefing club in your hall/campus? Thats cool.... Colin! Any updates? Hope your tank has tide over the last setback....dun give up!
Wow, nice tank...im sure my PT is happily swimming aroung in it now...how is it anyway, sorry to hear that it deosn't get on v well with your YT. Anyway, great looking tank with even greater looking corals.... Wished mine was 1/2 as nice as yours...*DreaMs*
Copied from the site....
A super popular and perfect reef aquarium fish, the average size of the Candy Hog is only about 2", maximum size in nature is around 4". May eat very small shrimps, etc, but it is otherwise reef safe.
Erm, i think 1 week is too fast for the beneficial bacteria to multiply with or without adding any bacteria tablets. But anyway, your fishes look healthy and its much better than the 1st tank i had. Hehe, have fun stocking up and continue to post pics yeah? Cheers....
Erm, seriously, i dont think u can maintain a high level or even moderate water quality in a 1 footer with 7 fishes by doing a water change every 2 weeks. Got measure your nitrate level?
I'll try post up a picture of the ROWAsponge later....i think its size makes it perfect for hang on filters since it combines both the effects of carbon and rowa. Dual effects in a small package. Don't know how effective it is though, its a pretty new product.
If your tank is pretty small, i'll suggest removing all the LRs and fish the damsels out. You coulkd of course try the fish trap 1st and see if they fall for it....gd luck!~
