  1. Oh, kinda reminded me a shop in S'goon selling a 3 ft tank close to 2k with damsels and cheap corals... Really tempted by their super suns though, think $25 per polyp? Is that a reasonable price? Btw, im off topic...sorry!
  2. Haha, theres a damsel only tank in suntec i think.... Btw, the damsel tank with the single clown looks great!
  3. lOl...thats a good one, neokn. I was wondering what in the world is a LFM. Arent there only LFS n LFFs? Why make things so complicated? Hehe, just my personnal thoughts, no offence meant for the thread starter....
  4. Lol....hrmz, thats something new. My colleague is a collector of such stuff, don't know if he believes in them but the one he wears to work everyday costed him a 5 digit sum. ZzzZzZzz. Im pretty apprehensive about such stuff, don't really dare to wear anything like that....
  5. My coco(the one on the left) kept spewing out some white stuff for a couple of seconds....any idea what happened? Releasing eggs/sperm or something?
  6. My 2 electric hermits...need your help people! Any idea if they clear off my coralline algae? Notice some white patches around....will turbo snails do that too?
  7. Hrmz, i've had fav pieces died on me too...and now my fav red gonio isnt opening up, hope its okay. Anyway, Max, what kind of lighting are you using? Im interested in clams but don't think my lighting is enough so i stayed off them.
  8. HAha, i always love your self-caught LS....can i join in one day? Seems pretty fun...
  9. Thats true....you'll learn much more about the hobby if you start from scratch and DIY. Sometimes it can be backbreaking, heart-breaking and sometimes pure frustrating. But trust me, its a process you'll enjoy and you'll look on with pride as your reef grows from nothing to a beautiful centerpiece in your house....
  10. Agree with neonk....if you wanna save abit of electricity, you can do w/o the chiller at the moment...since you don't have much corals... Anyway, nice start but remember to add LS slowly. Reef on!
  11. LoL....serious? There are seriously alot left, doubt he can clear out all of them....
  12. Hi people, Was wondering if hermits/turbo snails will strip my LRs of coralline, notice some white patch at the spots where the hermits went over. Any advice?
  13. Haha, whats so not convenient? I got them from reef n nature....maybe you can call them up and check if they still have them avaliable? They had lots when i went there on Sunday...
  14. Hi hondaker....my cleaner wrasse is feeding on live brine, frozen brine, frozen mysis and pellets too. Guess im lucky with this particular one. Its my 2nd. My 1st and 3rd ones refused to feed and perished. I like the suns too....happened to come by a new shipment and chose this particular one. Gorgonia...thanks for the compliment and for visiting my thread....
  15. Hrmz, you need to properly acclamatise inverts before putting them in the tank. They are much more sensitive to different temperatures and salinity than fishes...
  16. Cleaner Wrasse giving FlamEy a body checkup....
  17. Erm, be sure to clear the collection cup frequently though, imagine all the waste flowing back into your tank...
  18. Hrmz, have to agree with the reefers here that the shop is abit overpriced. If you really like a nano, get one and set it up yourself....At most 2/3 of the price? If you can, get a conventional tank, it'll let you upgrade and install equipments much easier than the nanocube...
  19. Dunno about the west...but lots spotted at PR. Nice blood shrimps too...
  20. Last pic of the night....in ATAniC!. Gd nite evryone....got to catch some sleep....wedding pic day tmr!~
