How big are the maximas?

Inverts and corals are much more sensitive to water temperature than fishes. 31 degrees in my humble opinion is suitable for a fish only tank, inverts and corals will not last long in that temperature range.

Are there brach bubbles? Haven't seen any around....

Erm....personally i have not heard of anyone fragging bubble corals before. Maybe its due to my limited reefing experience but it seems pretty dangerous since the skeleton is more or less in a snigle piece, unlike those branching corals that you can frag easily by just dividing the branches. Think it'll be pretty unwise to break the skeleton, exposing the flesh. Just my thoughts, any experienced reefer can comment?

Hrmz, have not seen any clear skimmers around for sale. Anyway, why stuff algae in your skimmer? Wouldn't that affect microbubble production?

Wah, you seem to be spying on my every move. Haha. Might let them install the equipments and after that i'll do the scaping and other stuff myself. Doubt you'll want my tank, its not really built for marine aquariums.... You and your German craze! Im sure you'll be able to find someone good enough to make your tank in SG. Btw, Golden Octo's tanks are made in Germany, the artificial LRs are made in Germany too....

Haha, sometimes im amazed what fans can do....seems much more efficient and cheaper than using chillers.

Hrmz....its a 5ft tank with custom build cabinet, didnt really ask in detail as they were pretty busy. But i would guess basic equipment means a skimmer, all the pumps, chiller, mh, cr, fr. Maybe they are charging for setting up too. Any inputs on realiable tankmakers would be appreciated!

Oh okayz, thanks for the info Terryz_! Will keep that in mind. Was quoted around 4 to 5k for a custom built tank(Tank + Sump + Cabinet + Basic Equipment). Is that expensive?

Erm, heard of it before....but have no idea what it does, what its advantages are or how much it costs more than a normal panel. Haha, i got no budget to make any tank for the next few months, you go ahead and i'll sneak behind and copy....
