The foot is where the clam attach themself to your rocks and putting the foot of the clam lower sounds logical? Oh, i like to tilt my clams towards the front of the tank for easier viewing.

Erm, if your last fish has alredy died, whats there to observe what is going to happen next? Throwing away the carbon wouldn't help....if you want to "restart" your tank, get some carbon into your tank and do a major water change like some bros recommand. Oh, still curious about your Sg reading.

Haha...no need to worry, when your clams gets used to all the activity around it, it will stay open even with fishes brushing against it. And please do not try and apply pressure to your crocea to make it close, why would you want to do that? Does your clam come attached on a piece of rock? If not it'll attach itself on your LRs and you'll have a hard time removing it later....anyway, your clam should be alright, no worries.

If you do not want to flood your tank with food, use the syringe and "inject" the cyclopeeze in close vicinity of the suns, they'll open....

Erm...chemipure is a sort of carbon is it not? If it is, its not used to house bacteria and changing it will not cause all your bacteria to perish. Agree with bro fuel, check your salinity, its the most basic parameter in any system.

Hrmz...my red fromia got bitten by something on 1 of its legs awhile back. I guess it'll recover, as long as its still actively moving, it should be alright.

Erm, i have never seen any blue bubbles for sale before, but if a LFS is ever going to bring those in, it would at least cost over a hundred i guess.

It doesnt really matter what your sand looks like as long as they belong t the finer grades....

Hrmz, i doubt a nitrate level of 40 will kill your fishes. My nitrate is around or even higher than your and my LS are all well. Did you introduce anything new into your tank recently or dose some new additives?
