My cleaners and single fire shrimps have not "disturb" one another. Maybe you can stay with 2 cleaners and add a pair of boxers(purple or yellow head) or a pair of fire shrimps. The fire shrimps if im not wrong costs abit more than the cleaners.
Hrmz, Zoxan 2 aids the growth of coralline. At least thats what it says on the packaging. Mine has been growing pretty well. Of course there are other factors that affects coralline growth. Do a search on the forum.
Hrmz, i guess you can try connecting the cannister to your chiller and sees if it cools your tank. Makes sure the hoses arent longer than necessary though as your cannister is already pretty low-powered. Dun have to make the water travel any extra distance before it gets back to your tank.
Erm, have no experience on JEbo cannisters. If you can afford it, try get brands like Ehiem. Erm, may i know why you bought a CL650 for a 2FT? Abit of an overkill ain't it?
Hrmz, the longest they've last is 2 days with alot of die-offs. Normally i'll leave them in those small plastic tanks and run a air pump to circulate the water abit. Hrmz, kind of forgotten who, but a reefer recently mentioned that keeping LBS in the fridge will make them last longer.
Yup...the maldives one. The Phillipines one is still very elusive. They are both "sleeping" now, will try feed them with the LBS tomorrow and let you know....
Erm....you have to make your questions clearer. What do you mean by what will happen? Nothing will happen, they will not bite one another. No offence, just kidding. I presume you are asking if the 2232 will be poweerful enough to run the CL650. Whats the flow rate of your cannister? Im using a cannister (1350L/hr) ot run my CL450. Accordingly to the manufacturer, a Cl-650 requires a 1800L/hr pump. Whats the flowrate of your cannister?
AM - sand shifter stars, cleaner shrimps(S), Tiny and (S) sized BTs, (L) Sailfins, (L) Nasos, 1 (S) YT, Green/Yellow coral goby, Sally Lightfoots, Red Crabs, Halequin Shrimps, 1 coral beauty and the usual fishes....
Hrmz, thats something new....in my old tank, the coralline didn't change colour....they just became more and more pale in colour and finally the whole rock turned white.
Star polyps arent difficult...might take a while before they open though. Are any of your LS bothering it? Give it enough light and if your water parameters are adequte, they'll open.
Haha, im using the Seachem one too, heard the Kent Marine 1 is better though. The garlic is supposed to entice the fish to eat. Helps build up their resistance to diseases too.
Hrmz, my T5s measure approx....26cm(W) x 6cm(H) x 3FT(L)....4 tubes of T5s to bring a total of 156W for my approx 65G tank.
I think a 4Ft version will cost you ard $300 plus abit? Thats for the 4 tubes version of course. They have a version with 2 tubes as well.
