With my usual 4 t5s off, the tank just look so dark. Maybe too used to the brightness liao. Guess the 2.5ft width is too much for the mh as well. Maybe have to get one of those with the huge reflector like yours.

Cos not. Me too cheap liao. Diy one. Will look into finding another type of bulb and make a bigger panel. The current one, altho 3w, penetration is no good. Had to lower it to about 3-4 inches above the water. With so many wrasses in the tank, seems a bit dangerous.....

Added a new toy. I switched off my T5, just to compare the effects of MH and LEDS. Pic taken with handphone, so quality pretty bad. Left side is MH and right side is LED. Still think 25 x 3W leds can't beat the mh though....

Opens up to probably a guy's palm. Bigger than mine for sure. Prata reserved liao.

Furan-2 was only available for a short period of time a few months back, due to some mistake..... It is usually not sold locally. You can try your luck at C328, Aunty should know if you mention Furan-2. Not sure if they still have it though.

You'll probably need a wall plug like those used for board walls, so the screw won't fall out.

At the moment, it's pecking on the pratas but don't know what's it's pecking on, and the pratas seem ok. Think will leave it and monitor first. Thanks for the offer. Will let u know if I decide to catch it.

Not sure if I want to keep this YT.... Can see it pecking on the pratas, although the pratas seem to be ok with it, to be on the safe side and at the same time, reducing bio-load, I might try to catch it.....
