  1. How's the setting up coming along?? We're all waiting for your pics!
  2. As requested, a FTS of my main tank.
  3. I suppose all my tanks will add up to about 200g, I'm dosing about 9000mg twice a day. Guess, by that table, I should be at about 20+ppm?? Don't think I can afford to hit 50ppm.
  4. I only up the dosage to 20mg (approx. only. It's actually 2 TM big blue spoon) recently. Previously only 1 spoon.
  5. According to the zoaid cure page, it should work. Did u take any before and after pic, to see the progress? Maybe u can start a thread to show us your experiment.
  6. Thanks Bros for your concern. Yes, have been trying to remember to use gloves, but most of the time forget. Bro amby is right too, the hands do get more sensitive when I mess with the tank often. When that happens, just have to try to stop putting the hands in the tank, only restricted to cleaning the glass and picking up the corals if they happen to fall on one another.
  7. Can try the frags in the newly scaped tank with more light now. Not fragging anything at the moment, cos for some unknown reasons, I keep getting paper cuts. Best not be messing with zoas..
  8. Tried pink zoas, b4. Used to put them at the top of the rockscape, cos I thot pink likes more light. Anyways, had them for a while then they melted away. Not sure why.... But I have seen pink zoas in other bro's tank and it placed on the sandbed and it's doing well. So this time, the pink one I got from Iwarna's last shipment, half put on sandbed and other half in the newly scaped tank, under 250w mid tank. Will see what's the difference.....
  9. Got 1 big foam box waiting for u to collect, water drying up fast.....
  10. Me no expert lah, just have many zoas only. Don't know why the zoas not opening, but if u leave the zoas on a rock, they will attached themselves over time.
  11. I always thot "US" zoas are mostly from indon. We don't get them b'cos these are ship to the US cos they fetch a better price. Guess it's not surprising that we can sometimes get nice zoas in the indon shipement if our eyes are sharp enuf. Pls correct me if I'm wrong. Nice catch Bro nf.
  12. No tricks leh. Guess it just the usual, like lights, flow, space to grow, and more lights?
  13. The red ring zoas was in the midst of your man-eater colony. It has a yellow skirt or green skirt? The one I have only have brown skirt. As for the prata, it's better for them to be one the sandbed, cos the flesh sometimes get caught on the rocks. But this one has been on that spot since day 1, seems happy there, so leave it lor.
  14. Yes, that my hubby, checking out my lights. Didn't realise he was standing there when I took the pic. Got the neon goby from LCK, it's already quite big when I first got. Now, they are eating pellets too, and chasing the wrasses....
  15. Had the prata for some time liao. It might close to 1ft if it's happy n open big. U got some nice catch in zoas recently too. Saw a nice one with red ring in your tank pics.
  16. U compare with bro nuclear fibre, see the same or not. I'm not sure....
  17. best to use a blade. Vinegar is no good.
  18. 2nd one no frags at the moment. The last one seems to melting. Wonder if should try to dip it in Furan2??
  19. The tank pics. Top right corner of the fts, or the pic under the fts.
