  1. wow, didn't know they feed on live starfish which is a beauty on its own...sounds cruel to me though..
  2. The problem is tt i'm no longer working in that company...cannot go and revamp the office tank liao. But fish trap is worth trying, i'll tell my ex-colleague to try that. The lesson is next time when i set up my own tank, i'm not going to buy any damsels.
  3. l've added goby and blenny in my office tank...but got killed the next day. i suspect must be those huge damsels, a electric blue and a black damsel (sori, dunno their names). Besides damsels, the other two are a yellow tang and coral beauty. but so difficult to remove them, always hide in LR when i lowered the net.. : (
  4. Tried introducing fish one at a time...i.e. i buy only 1-2 fishes everytime i visit a LFS. But every intro is a disaster, the newie will get harassed and killed by other older resident fishes. : ( Any advice from the old birds??
  5. Hi, i have a brand new red sea prism skimmer w box. You interested?
  6. Personally, dun think the discounts offered is really special but are quite market rate during valentine's day. Noel gifts and humming hse can offer comparable deals.
  7. hello i'm shifting hse and is giving up hobby. i have a 2 ft empty tank for cheap sale. It comes with lights, hang on filter, small internal powerhead filter, fish food, medicine. It's a normal tank which i used to keep tropical fish. Thus not sure if it suits marine set up or for a sick fish tank?? Asking for a token of $20. Self collect. anyone interested can sms me at 92773060.
  8. Why don't u release it than seeing it dying slowly of hunger in your tank? Heard from many seniors that butterfly fishes are best left in their natural home, the ocean, 'cos not many hobbyists know how to keep them. If we dun support the purchase of butterfly fishes, then the traders will reduce importing them --> less capturing from the ocean. just my 2ct worth.
  9. Hi l intend to set up a marine tank next mth when my house is renovated. However, was told that as a marine lover, i shouldn't be supporting the trade and taking corals from the ocean as corals multiply & grow very slowly like sharks. No coral reefs = No fishes. Any advice if live rocks are suffice for a marine tank?
