  1. Hmm...how abt temp housing yr PBT in betta box in main tank or in the sump and let MI get use to the main tank environment and feeding for a couple of days. MI is much less aggressive as compared to PBT.
  2. Cleaner wrasse has poor survival rate in captivity le...best not to try lar. Neon goby better. Didn't know that cleaner wrasse also eats white spots. Could be more likely that the fish recovered by itself thru own immune system.
  3. Bro Congrats!! You managed to get the MI feeding mysis and even pellets, wow. Secrets share leh...
  4. My tank temp is ard 30 degrees. No prob so far for my cleaners, fire and boxer shrimps and they are doing well.
  5. Starfishes are such nice & lovely creatures. IMO, l think it's very cruel to feed and see the these shrimps eating a helpless starfish an arm than another arm bit by bit and dying a slow painful death. Given a choice out of no choice, i think the starfish wld rather be killed first. l wld rather keep other shrimps which i think are just as beautiful.
  6. And for goodness sake, pls don't abuse bro tivoli's kindness by piloting him like you frequently did it on other kind reefers!! Hope you've now changed for the good of SRC community.
  7. Hmm, 6-line may not necessary be the culprit as you have just added in while the hector goby was the older resident. It cld be due to diseases introduced from yr batch of new fishes... Anyway, 6-line is a terror wrasse which i myself regretted added in my main tank...and there's no way of catching it unless major overhaul of yr tank LR & corals... Hope yr rainford is fine since it was added together w the 6-line.
  8. Then for lazy pple like me can aim for supersun liao and dun have to guard every sunnie head from having their meals snatched by my clownfishes and wrasses...
  9. Didn't know MI eats prata...but if it really feeds, then maybe got chance to train it eats frozen stuff or henry foodmix... Bro Javier, MI feeding already?
  10. Bro Tks for yr YT and PT. Both adapting well in my tank of tangs. Miraculously, no fighting occurs... The YT is now the "ta ger ta" liao.
  11. Do post update pics & FTS if there's any new additions, yah?
  12. Nice nice!! Your tank is fully packed w gems liao...
  13. Wow a stingray for 500 euros, my jaws dropped!! And just for the 80 euros lobster, imagine you got a pair and they started mating and there're hundreds and hundreds of baby lobsters.... You'll be rich
  14. Me too didn't know they are interlinked. If so, then feed one or two heads shd suffice right?? Hmm... Thanks for all the bros' comments, think l want to restart keeping sunnies liao. Cannot resist the colors and beauty of this coral le.
  15. 80 Euros for tt little fellow? Wow And a very nice starfish you have bro.
  16. Hmm, if they're anemone, poss to take out the liverock and dig them out carefully as anemone can release toxic?? l have not tried this method though...Maybe there are better ways... But once i had a small anemone (one tt moves ard) sited on a big LR but imposs for me to take out as tt LR acts as a base for my other LRs. What i did was since it was attracted to light, l shaded it by placing a small flat LR on top of it. Naturally, it moves from the now shaded original place and climbed on top of the small LR. Then, l merely took the small LR out from my main tank. Btw, your sea cucumber is another potential timebomb like anemone, you may want to consider removing it and replace it using other safer cleaning crews...Just a suggestion.
  17. Javier, Are yrs aptisa? There's a recent discussion... http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?...opic=53695&st=0. Heard if we dun control them, they will spread like wild fire Great majestic looking MI you have. The only problem w this beauty is tt most of them will refuse to eat any food we offer and will slowly...Yours eating already?
  18. Agreed tt sunnies are some of the nicest corals. l used to have one but everytime i target feed, my clown and wrasse will snatch the food away until i gave up keeping sunnies... l wonder how other reefers manage to target feed their sunnies, esp those who have many colonies and if each head is to be fed individually...sounds quite siong...

  20. mine too...i lost mine during an ich outbreak in my tank. The juv emperor is still my favourite angel. Now cannot add liao 'cos got zoos in my tank... do post new pics after adding new colored background hor or any new additions you have bro.
  21. Bro, You may want to reconsider getting an emperor angel if you are keeping clams, meaty type of corals and zoos. l kept one before and it nipped on my clam and zoos. Being a big angel type, it also requires a bigger tank. For spotted mandarin, l understand it requires a good supply of copepods and similar stuff to survive and generally prefers mature reef tank. Just my 2 cts...
  22. Saw some of these additional LS (most are already eating pellets) at Sealife on Friday... One AT, YT (L), Clown Tangs (S), Orange Shoulder Tangs (XL), BT (S), Kole Tang, Phillipines Yellow Tangs, Convict Tangs, PBT, PBrT, Solar Wrasses and many Flame Angels.
  23. Very clear water l think a blue or black background paper wld really be better than seeing those pipings and prizm exposed. And maybe later a few bigger LRs as l saw many small pieces of LR stacked together?? Not sure if the current ones are secured to each other to prevent......??
  24. Wow...is that your refugium?? looks so "chio" w so many diff types of macro algae & even got landscaping...so nice...can't wait to see how yr main tank will look like...
