  1. Selling cleaner shrimp (m) for $6, coral banded shrimp (m) for $2. Yellowtail blue damselfish - FOC. Collection at Hougang Central.
  2. Not sure if this works...installing a clip-on fan or computer fan inside the cabinet to blow out the hot air (for cool air to enter)...and have the plug on a timer (programme to on in the day which is warmer)? Or connect the plug together with the chiller temp controller so that when the chiller is activated to kick in, the fan will be on at the same time; when the chiller is off, the fan follows?
  3. No need chiller if you can have that kind of temp after running the lights, pumps, wavemaker, etc. but make sure your thermometer is accurate though. I think 28c is good enough for corals unless you are keeping SPS which I'm not familiar on the ideal temp.
  4. Actually a quarantine tank shd not be linked to the display tank cos pathogen can easily move to either tank. But if yr intention is of a betta tank purpose, then it's ok. Looking forward to see your stock up tank.
  5. Currently reserved. Will inform those who PM if the earlier reefer did not collect. Thanks.
  6. Selling at $10 if can take by this Sunday. Healthy and eating pellets.
  7. WTS coral beauty at $18. Bought from Sealife, so quality is there. Very nice coloration, bright purplish. Eating pellets. Collection at Hougang Central. Pls PM your interest. Thanks.
  8. Yes, chiller is needed for anemone in our hot climate , in fact, for most corals and inverts too. Fishes prefer cooler waters too.
  9. A bit off topic...thanks for the updates. But try not to hold any fish on your palm to snap pics or video cos for the fish, it's like laying on a burning bed.. Our body temp is much higher than that of the fish and that will cause much stress to the already stressful condition of being removed from the ocean and placed in different tanks and packing bags.
  10. Why harlequin shrimps? You got to feed them with life starfish which is their only food. Are you prepare to sustain them with such diet?
  11. IMO, i think it's too expensive for just a 3 ft tank. Why not get a few more quotes and compare? Can start from our some of our sponsors here. Good luck.
  12. Thanks for the interest. Fish tentatively reserved.
  13. Giving away an 3inch orange striped bristletooth tang, eating pellets and heathly. Need to reduce bioload. Collection today at Hougang Central. Pls PM interest and contact numbers. Thanks.
  14. Selling healthy purple tang for $55. Healthy and eating pellets. Collection at Hougang Central. Pls PM your interest, thanks.
  15. My experience is they like flow more than light, and definitely a crevice in the liferock where they can hide and anchor themselves.
  16. Great tank and beautiful list of tangs. And that's one difficult pic to take, capturing all 9 fast swimmers in your big tank.
  17. You actually enjoy seeing live prey being eaten. This is sad.
  18. Got to get rid as soon as you see them cos they can spread like wildfire...and they can sting and leave ugly marks on fishes.
  19. I will never do that if I've a stable, feeding and gorgeous AT. IMO not even a gem or black tang can beat a AT as it's a difficult fish.
  20. Bicolor dottyback and most damsels are fishes that are best to avoid at all cost. They can be little devils in a community tank.
  21. There is actually a thread on distilled water delivery recently with suppliers and contacts. Personally, I would recommend using those 19 litres/5 gallons bottle type than those small NTUC bottles which are not environmentally friendly.
  22. Salinity too high, worse if your hydrometer (if you are using) is not reading correctly. Also check if your test kits reads correctly...not expired.
  23. Thanks for your comments. As mine is a 422 and some LPS are glued to the LR, and transferring all the corals will also be a big hassle as i don't drive. Guess i would have to do the quick fix method by taking a day off and asking Irwana to pump in NSW for the whole tank. Many LPS are starting to recede and expose a bit of their skeletons. Sigh... For the other bros, just be careful when using testkits. Don't end up like my case.
