Spacious and mature tank (I recommend at least 4 ft), strong water flow and good water parameters + a pellet feeding PBT bought from a reliable lfs. Your chance will be good. It is likely to get some ich once in display tank but ensure it is feeding well, after a few days it'll be ok. Subsequently, don't add new fishes that are not guarantine, but only from reliable lfs.

Commenting as a third party, I see no harsh words used by the seniors abt correcting the misconception on carribean fishes. Let's not be over-sensitive. Cyanide is only employed discriminately in indon and philippines. Rock beauty is just too difficult to keep in captivity due to diet which I thought shd not be imported in the first place. If I'm buying expensive (in my opinion) or more challenging fishes, I usually buy from good LFS that allow me to test feed and paying a little more for a stable and feeding fish is still worth it than losing the entire fish and purchase.

Plenty of shrunk and fire shrimps at AM. Many red scooter blennies, beautiful pakistani butterflies, mccosker and long fin fairy wrasses.

Plenty at Sheng siong supermarket, live ones in their tanks.

If bottom pic is the recent pic, you may want to shift it higher up near the light and water movement, but away from the wavemaker. It looks quite stressed. If it dies, it will pollute the whole tank, causing major ammonia spike and your fishes will be gravely affected. Keep a close watch.

And when it dies without you noticing soon enough and poison the entire tank, good luck to all your precious livestock and investment. Why taking such risk? Don't say you have never been warned.

Nice scaping. But I hope it is not all corals and fishes added in at one go, if not, you may experience ammonia spike. Do regular water changes if you see something is not right. Keep the pics coming.

Prepare to pay a premium price in GO for any corals, that's my observation after two visits. Maybe I'm not their regulars.

Anyone can confirm the sodium bicarbonate powder is the same as the one sold in Phoon Huat (bakery supplies shops in our neigbourhood)? Recalled a discussion previously that it is the same product but much cheaper in Phoon Huat. I once saw a bottle in Phoon Huat labelled it Sodium Bicarbonate or something.
