Its really tough to get right. But once done, I find myself staring at the ATS instead of looking at the main tank!! The KEY really, is to ensure that u have 2 things. 1. A Striaght Clean Slot in the pipe. 2. An Adjustable PH. I dont have any algae yet cuz its just started running for a day, but it does look very promising. And, to top it off, with the correct flow, NO microbubble!! phew. Any reefers with experience with ATS, pls drop me a pointer or two !!

Been a Couple of years since I've stopped and the marine tank bug is back. So, with a quick call to De-lights, a couple of trips to Iwarna later and its I'm back online! =) Gota say i really like the Cube Design!

I think I've gotten it wrong seires led , so current in n out of every led is still 680mA! I think haha Cheers! I'm looking very much forward to this build !!!

Hi, I may not be a LED guru, but, I'm pretty much a technical guy. Firstly, I'd like to sincerely apologise if I offend the Treadstarter or put a damper on ur parade... But it seems to me that this 20 LED kit is really underpowered? I'm looking at the LED driver that is spec'd at 680mA CC, so u get two of these, and u'll put 10 in series to each Driver. Roughly, that makes a delievry of 68mA per LED ? For a 3Watt rated led, maximum Vf of maybe 3.7Vdc at 700mA, i'd say that u're driving the LED at 1/10 of its potential. So LED gurus, what am I'm missing ?

thanks Kenneth bro.. its been in the tank for some time, i really dun know what it is and i tried to cross reference it on the web , the closest i got to was red slime but it doesnt look like it... I used to have a blenny but he seems happier feeding on algae off my rocks rather then the red velvet like stuff... anyway i gave him up cuz my tank cant sustain him and i cant ween him to feed on pellets...

hmm.... whats coraline algae? Its growing in my sump also... Its not coraline encrustation if thats what u were refering... the picture's not so clear. Its sorta growing like a sponge, bottom white and the top's Red and abit velvet like...

Can someone help Id this for me? Its the red algae thing growing on my PH. It grows on many different places too... how do i get rid of it. Seems to like places with flow.

HI all, this is alittle off topic from marine stuff. however, i do need help in drilling a few holes. I actually live in punggol area and the new flats have aluminium door frames instead of wood i think. The reason for drilling the holes are for the purpose of mounting a pull up bar. \ So far , i've tried unsuccesfully using some of the older drill bits i have. Am also just wondering if it would make i difference if i used a more powerful drill. Any advises? thanks alot Silver

thanks all for the info, i was initially tempted to get a jacket BCD, since everytime i go diving, the rental bcds are not in the prime of conditions and though its not that they are not good enuff for a leisure dive, i was hoping to have some personalised equiptment for a more comfortable dive . Having said such, I'm aware of the backinflated BCDs and the tendancy for these BCDs to push the body towards the water on the surface. Although i'm tempted to go for these BCDs, i'm afraid my budget wouldnt allow it Have my mine set on gettin a second hand Jacket BCD, so anyone thinkin of upgrading or who noes anybody else who wants to let go a decent BCD , pls PM me. Was thinking of something cheaper. Any shops to recommend? I've never actually used back inflated BCDs. Is it better then the normal jacket BCDs? thanks HammerHd/Kelstorm silver
