Anyone know roughly what is the weight of 2x1.5x1.5ft tank with Seawater, DSB and LR in it? Have a above mention tank wanted to convert to marine tank. Saw Ikea shelf that can take weight up to 50kg, is it good enough?

Thks. I'm actually using some rocks(dry) bought from LFS with some LR. Will the rocks becomes LR after sometime in the tank?

Thks guys, If i want to transfer the existing (still in the process of cycling tank abt 1mth liao) water over to the new tank, do i have to recycle again? I will be moving the LR and sand too.

Hi all, Just joined this club. Hope to learn from u guys. Hope u guys don't mind i ask this newbies question. What's the difference between a sump tank, IOS and cannister filter? Other than the physical appearance, the function isn't it the same?
