the seng siong at taman jurong is doin the same thing too. the metal tank has a overflow, goes down to a sump with bio and artificial filter. and a skimmer too. but i think the skimmer is not good enough for the tank. the bubbles not micro enough. the seng siong food court just outside. the display tank of fishes/prawns/lobsters. they have chillers there. i think the brands are from china. each tank about 4-5ft. with 1 skimmer only. and the bubbles cant make it.

oh. circuit with sensor? can buy at sim lim tower. 1 packet. with all the nessecary components. need to self solder.

the reason is. the LED the longer leg is '+' and the shorter leg is '-' LED when connected correctly. there's something called the 'forward bais'. each LED will add abt 0.3V to the total V. if u connect the shorter leg to the '+' terminal. the it's a 'reverse bias'. each LED will -0.3V from the total V. so maybe u connect the LED wrongly lor. that's why will flicker.

it's telling u time to upgrade to a 5ft or 6ft. so that it has more space to grow bigger

can put 1 more small prata next to the plate. there's some space on the flat rock. next to the leather. can put sps. got flow and bright.

seio 1500 sounds a little too strong for a 3ft.

i think the tank needs more water flow. put a tunze or a seio620

even though it's low tech. but everything is doin well in the tank. maybe can add more water flow in the tank. what lights are u using? t5s? maybe can put a blue tube. helps corals to grow better.
