bought 04/02/2009 at $165 at clementi. Realized a month later that another distributor at another forum is selling it for $150 only. Light set comes with original box, tubes, receipt, accessories and 10 months left of warranty. fixture has 2 actinic tubes and 2 12k tubes. also have 4 blue LED night light that works suprisingly well. light is used for 7 hours a day, actinic sometimes longer up to 9hours. LED lights hardly used.. only switched on once or twice for fun. reason for selling : changing to 2 solite fixture from another bro.. cause this light does not have separate power connector, so have to manually switch off if i only want 2 tubes to be on. that's about the only thing i don't like about this lightset... otherwise its a great economical fixture! looking at $130 or best offer... collection at bukit timah, near beauty world. please pm me. thanks!

how would adding another clown in help????? if its a difference species clown, the maroon will tear it apart in no time. if its another maroon, the dominant maroon will still wack it for a good while. if that poor fellow survives, it might host in the bubble or hammer or zoa colonies instead of the anemone anyway. seriously.....

i feel sad for your tank inhabitants... what exactly were you thinking when you bought them? a seahorse would look cool clinging to a favia and it would have a chance at the mysis against 10 chromis? bro lemon.. unlike you, its clear that he doesn't research on the lifestock he puts into his tank. No offence but please stop telling him it is okay to have all these in the 2ft tank. it is definitely NOT okay, no matter how good your tank water parameters are and how you change the water every other day. fishes and corals are also living things... they deserve better.

previously bought both from ultraman.. since i've changed over to barebottom, these 2 wrasse don't really like it. no sand to hide and sleep in... both are healthy w/ no ich. radiant is about 3"+, eats everything $65 (bought at 70) pencil royal wrasse 2.5", eat everything $20 (bought at 25) collection at bukit timah near beauty world, will upload photos soon.

really depends on which products you're looking at... they sell skimz there too and obviously its gonna be cheaper here... and don't forget to haggle! not trying to be a typical singaporean tourist but sometimes when they see you're not local.... the electronics street suppose to have some good bargain too, if you missed the recent crazy IT show. haha

SCWD can get from Reefdepot.. cheap and good. economy bad, must support local economy first! =) as for the goldfish market, here's something i sent to sis ming yesterday the street is called Tung Choi Street. It is located at Kowloon and the nearest MTR should be Mong Kok (Wang Jiao) or Mong Kok East Station. Just get to that train station and ask around in English / Cantonese (don't use chinese or they think u're from mainland...) and most people will be able to guide you there. You'll see alot of fish and pet shops along the road... about 12 or so selling marine fish and about 8 of so sells corals, mostly LPS. If you're looking for equipments and additives, there's this shop that always very crowded and is called "something" distributor... The equipments sold there is probably the cheapest on the street. I think for purchases > $200 SGD you can get 10% discount cause I saw a thai couple did that. But because they all speak in cantonese, you'll need to be able to tell them what you need, so maybe a picture of something in mind might be useful. most of the shops open from 11 onwards till about 8, so don't go too early. There are some nice places to eat along that street too... if you're thinking of bringing zoos back, might be good to bring some water tight tupperware along and plan that as the last stop b4 flying off. the zoas are all loose, so no rocks attached.. which is great cause AVA don't like live rocks.. also zoas are not listed under CITES, so don't need to apply for permit. as for other LPS, you got to check. If i'm not wrong, you are allowed to bring 5 palm sized zoas back.. dun take my word for that, check with ava pls. last tip is don't forget to bargain! they do cut the prices by quite abit since business is quite competitive on that street. good hunting for zoas and do bring back some gems! then sell me a frag. haha if you're a budget traveller, you can check out this hostel called Dragon hostel. its right smack in mong kok, between ladies street and the IT street and gold fish street and dunno what other streets.... haha very convient to travel further too cause the mini buses and MTR station is just below. http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&m...006974&z=18 there is more info here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tung_Choi_Street hope that helps!!

yesterday i shot a a few frags of zoos that had started rotting on the sides. cut out the rotting part and shot a few polyps today... they are still closed but i think they are gonners.. tmr they should start rotting i think. haha gonna find another colony to shoot iodine into
