    The ammonia alert is new, so maybe i did get a faulty one or like my previous post, the rocks were somewhat cured, so i did not see any spike.

    Yes, i think the rocks are pre-cured. Maybe tats why no ammonia spike seen?

    Hi , i started 4 footer tank about 2 weeks back, threw in 2 prawns but still don't see any ammonia spike. I am using seachem ammonia alert ands it still doesn't show any color change. Not even to "alert" status! So did my cycle start?

    Hey, the same thing happened to me yesterday! I was feeding flake food to my fishes when i noticed 1 of the polyps caught a piece and devouring it... Mine is the orange sun coral.
