Well u should not blame the fishes, its their natural instinct, eat wat they can to survive so the one who put them together .... Should alway check it out, if u hav coral, them put in only reef safe fishes. otherwise big headache Think 3 times before putting in the fishes Putting is as easy as ABC, to get them out is XYZ...

Blue Tang are very greedy, only nothing to eat, they anything as much as u can give them no worries at all

Hi don;t wat u need to repair, but mostly is the rubber tube. Do u apply vaseline, as the tube needs to be lubricated. The other thing is the rotating driver roller. U can check with Aquamart at Joo chiat, Mr Tan, Glenn or Jason they have spare parts for Aquamedic. Given up with the SP3000 Just use a small feeding pump and regulate it with some valves.

Check if ur SH get feeding, when there's so many fast feeding fishes around. SH don't stand a chance to get any food.

We are living towards tomorrow, the past might be splendid, but image if u ordered a tank, pay ur deposit so & so $$$$ promised date by then & then. When the day come nothing happen no tank no news don't know wat's happening, called & messaged no reply phone never answered, so how do u feel. Those who got their tanks and service were in the past, history. Many chances were given looks like things did not chance for the better

Hi everyone I did also observed that my cleaning shrimp went digging some coral, Bubble, Cynarina for the food after target feeding them, really a nuisance digging into the mouth of the coral for the piece of shrimp fed. So i usually stand by for a while until the coral ate and close its mouth. I use a chopstick (only for the tank, not used for makan oily & soap free) I can also keep the fishes away from the coral with the chopstick

I do not hav the experience of SH & Hammer, but as observation SH hav small long snout not suitable to nip on hammer but maybe SPS, as transition i did hav mushroom & Lobo in the SH they do not bother them. Large LPS should be OK with SH. Might not be easy with SH, i tried 3 times, all gone by 1 week. The 4th time these 4 survive very well. As i said before more concern are the others tank mates (fishes). How reef safe are SH, u got to do ur homework. Trying urself is the best to gain the experience. I hav Hammer etc. but not problem for the fishes and shrimps, they won't go onto the hammer. they won't be sting to death if accidentally contact wt the hammer, i think hammer is not as dangerous as the anemone.

Ur tank is 3 feet, enough space for the SH to avoid the hammer. I hav 2 tanks, 1 with corals also Hammer, Octo, and branch Torch, but my SH are in another smaller nano tank 350x350x350. as the SH are slow eater, don't mix with fast feeding fishes, they don't stand a chance to get fed. So take that into consideration, if u hav many other fishes in ur tank. My SH tank has only a mandarin also slow eater. Might get some sand shifting gobies, as they will clean food at the bottom. It is also essential to provide many branches for the SH to hang or cling on with their tails. Not too strong flow. Then they feels siok siok.

I used to hav 4 SH without chiller, OK but now i hav a chiller at 27. The thing is the chiller keeps the temp constant, no matter wat ambient temp is, hot or cold day.Less stress for your LS, due temp fluctuation. My tank b4 the chiller goes up to 32, really warm water. It is even more critical if u hav coral in the tank.

firstly should not have too many fishes, as moving fishes will grab what ever food you meant for the SH, so the SH got no chance of getting fed. I have 4 SH and a mandarin, probably a sand dwelling goby to pick lefted over food at the bottom. My horse feeds on frozen and live brine, mysis. Switch pump to minimize the flow. wash away food. Provide plenty of hangs on, i have a tree of mangrove roots. They use to play tag of war with their tails it's OK. Sufficient flow but not strong waves.
