in car is oki.. you distract yourself only.. the bar will light upz.. some got many leds will run like christmas tree effect, then change colour.. quite irritating when driving, esp at night u sleepy n need the concentration. (eg. like ppl using light on your eyes) imagine car inside dark, then bright like shining around. outside car, put where..? haha.. only can put below the car engine or stick to the side below.. illegal. but got a few ah beng put.
-
I dun think this is bright enuff.. I used to install one in my car.. took it out cause its too distracting..
-
hope it did not distract u from driving.. I was bo liao n alone at Far East Plaza having dinner. waiting to pick up something.. veri X like rowas too.. good buy on your corals, I got info on the stocks, but lazy to go down.. thought got my fav team playing.. wake up at 6am n waited till 10am, read papers then realised its morrow morning..

there are 4channels all under 88.* (88.1, 88.3, 88.5 or 88.7) U can choose which reception gives u the best music. But dun expect as good quality as direct than playing direct from CD. Its comparable to listening to radio at least. I just got it but has not really do a indepth test. Forgot how to set my car headunit preset radio station, must go back find manual. hehe.. This Belkin set is bought from challenger. If at nite can use the PDA place on the dashboard to control.. looks cool, high tech n grovey.. Maybe look for a PDA mount onz, then PDA becomes multi media device, can play video, music, GPRS.. wah shiok..!!

not selling, but happens to chance upon. Philips halogen lamp - 5000K near to 6000K of Xenon bulbs. Should be comparable cheaper w/o need for additional ballast of Xenon. Can try Tye Soon at waterloo street, check out the cheap Super4 spark plugs. Belkin wireless transmittor ($55) - transmit audio from any music device with headphone output via 4present FM (88.*) to another FM recevier. Just got the Belkin bugger n tried with my PDA. works fine. Good and cheaper alternative for mp3, especially if u got plenty of goodies on Memory cards. Also cool, playing with touchscreen PDA to control your music playing.. but watch the traffic..!

Coralife Moonlight By Bwilly Rating : 4 out of 5 stars I managed to get my hands on this 1watt Coralife Moonlight. It was advertised in many oversea fish magazines, and I was drooling when I ripped the package. Its basically pretty plug and play. The light is not rated for local use and a AC-AC adapter is needed. Reef Deport who delivers the set to my house was kind enough to buy one (Newstar) for me at $14.50. So for those unsavy in electrical stuffs it will set you back by $14.50 add $48, total of $62.50. Fixing it up (3/5) - There are two component parts. You can screw it to fix on a metal fixture that has a appropriate size sliding slot, allowing mounting on some light house. Not all lights housing can use this method. Alternatively mount on the round base with stick on rubber and place it hopefully somewhere stable. I chosen this method. The screwing to the mounting is quite difficult and I have difficulty in screwing the whole thing securely. Using the AC-AC adapter, plugging to the power socket becomes cumbersome. For those who have multiple huge plugs will have to be careful. The length of the wiring is short in my opinion. I cannot reach my center bracing to place it. I have side bracing all round in my tank. The rounded mounting is also too big to be place properly on my side bracing. There are three rubber mounting evenly spread, and only at any time, two can stick on my bracing. The other dangling rubber mounting makes the moonlight pretty unstable and prone to falling into the tank any time. I used a spare glass panel and placed it across the left side of my tank. Then I fixed the moonlight base securely on it. Due to the unstable screwing from base to mounting, the moonlight is slightly difficult to aim at the area you wanted. The whole process from ripping the packaging to installing then follow by placement took me 1hours+. Functionality - I have a DIY moonlight from a reefer which I use for comparison with this Coralife Moonlight. This 1watt moonlight is used on my 4feet tank, which is place about 15cm above water level. It illuminate half of my tank if place diagonally. The penetration of the depth is good, reaching up to my 2ft depth tank. The light is more bright compare to the normal LED ones I have. For 4ft tank I believe using a 1watt Coralife and 3/4 Coralife tank if place properly will allows u to illuminate the whole tank. The effect of the moonlight is astonishing that is if you like to view your corals at night. Photosynthetic corals will open and glow. I have my bubbles, hammers, yumas and zoos opening nicely. My DIY moonlight I got has 8 LEDs which when combined, is barely as bright as this Coralife moonlight. I was quite impressed especially its running on 1watt. Value - Its a good value for money comparing to doing/getting a DIY. The only con is that's no warranty and no replacement bulbs. I do recommend it to any reefers who love to view their tank anytime of the day. I am currently running it from 12 midnight when my main lights are off till 6:30am in the morning. Functionaility (5/5) - Does what it is built to do. User friendly (3/5) - wiring too short, screw threading not well done. Value (4/5) - Low power consumption but lack of replacement bulb and warranty.

I am using this model too. I am quite happy with it. low power consumption and pretty fast foaming within minutes after breaking in. (ie after each cleanse and wash)

okay.. my digi cam still with bro inlaw. weekend can post the pic.

Bad* experience at Coralfarm

relax.. just dun go back to the shop no more.. I never buy anything ever from LCK1*0 after meeting some young punks who know nought abt it even though I hear they change "management".. I was quoted similar if not higher price than CF.. I tik WTF??? never go back there any more.. some more the the punks well.. little knowledge. but personally I meet the auntie u mentioned. she was quite nice the few times i went there even once sold me a reserved item.. talk to her nicely, she'll see the light. or just let it go.. doubt there's any fish u will die die must have.. for your own pride.. will u go back?? talking abt discount.. ppl dun gives also LL mah.. recently at one LFS in the East I was quoted high, (almost 300% wat I paid few months ago, telling me certified crap.. ) I just tell the boss I dun want.. they can unpack it themselves. as for ID fishes.. not a easy task.. recent got one hiccup though.. I won't says much.. hehe.. but some LFS still goes by their "experience" while we go by book.. if their pricing still as good by their old "experience" then veri the good.. -
eh..? involve how come have? last time my platoon kenna. each person entitle to one tix at least.

I got one funni incident myself one.. I got 1 seasoned yellow tang (SYT) ,one newer introduced yellow tang (YT), 1 seasoned purple tang (SPT), 1 pui put purple tang (PPPT) and one sailfin tang. (ST) The WWF goes like this previously. SYT go wack the SPT, PPPT and ignore the ST and YT. kind of funni. recently the cycle change abit. YT after settled down goes wack SYT. tat's wat u get for being kind. now PPPT n SPT goes 1 on 1 at different time segment with SYT. Now the SYT abit bruised got bakleku.. haha.. tone down alot. The other tangs won't disturb the SYT unless aggravated. ST all along stay neutral.

like I mentioned. good chance army personnel got it. my bro used to work at one such establishment, n got some for me. other than that, its tough luck..
-
I saw it that day too..(the atlantic blue) but the colour not at all like the pic.. anyway I got 5tangs.. abit like WWF at times.. only thing is there's no time out..!!
-
if its wat I deem it is..a good buy. but need a holder who hang the doser. it works more on gravity to dose the tank.
-
internet ppl selling.. its almost like gold, u tik got ppl gave away..? I also never get any for ages liao, last time was when my platoon get involvement in the NDP.. u go look for high ranking army personnel, they usually have..
