how to do it???

hi guys,,, the powerhead that is leaking is connected to the skimmer. water is taken from the sump and pumped back into the skimmer... its been running abt a yr plus and recently saw the salt accumulating ard it. anyone can advise me wat is the problem????? (photo will be abit big, cos dunno how to reduce the size of the pic)

hi,, no expert in this field,,, the last time when my LR went haywire..... some advice was given to me,,,, take the live rocks out and scrub them clean and put them out in the sun,,, dry them up big time,,, they will be dead rocks by then,,,, then put back into tank to slowly cultivate the bacteria and stuff again.... not easy... so chose the second option,,, throw all the LR away and buy better quality LR.... bought mine from one of the LFS ,,,, veri nice but a bit ex..... if you want ,,, pm me and i can let you know the place but their price cant be neg..

hi, how do you buffer the Kh ard 10.... and after fish is treated, when we transfer them back to main tank,,,, will there be ich in the QT???

hi,, do you guys practice sing a low powered head to move ard the tank to blow on the LR to get rid of sediments, dust ,,etc...... and if any one does do it,,, wonder this will help in reducing the growth of cyano...

hi guys ,,, just a note,,, read from the other tread regarding cleaner,,,,,, i guess i could agree more with them and hope to pass the msg around,,,,, cleaners survival rate (be it shrimp or fish) are low,,, most cleaner fish dies off in under a yr...... however,,,, their presence in the ocean are of utmost importance..... it has been proven when cleaners are removed from the oceans,,, the fishes do not visit the reefs as often as before and in a way creates imbalance in the system...... so guys,,, if we are able to do without the cleaners.... lets not buy as thousand of cleaners are innocently killed...... haizzzz,,,,,,,,,

hi guys,,, so at the end of the day ,,,, wat is the best way to cure ich??? new advise on a few stuff... put new fishes in quarantine..... for how long??? if there is ich,,,, do we add the ich medication in or add garlic to food...?? when we do water dip.... is it safe???and the frequency of the dip??

read somewhere that ozonier actually kills our bacteria in our tank??? isnt that harmful for our tank since we take so long to cultivate our bacteria in both our sump and the LR/sand.
