Hi Ivan, my digitata seems fine. I just happen to saw this tiny crab at the base of the digitata, it seems it's hiding there happily. Not knowing if this is harmful, i chose the option of removing it just in case. Any benefits of having "SPS crabs"? I heard about some crabs living in SPS, and protecting the colony, but can't seem to find any reading materials online. Thanks again for ur advice.

my green prata. It was close to dying a few months back, all skeleton exposed, can't eat anything. Now it's recovering very well. It's becoming fleshy again, just that it's lost all its colour. hope i can bring back the green in it! Hoping for the best!

my staghorns' polyps are opened, but seems that it's browning out. Maybe the nutrient level is too high. The bright blue tip also seemed to be turning whitish oredi... sianz

The pseudo-superman's polyps doesn't open as well as the rainbow. Wonder if it's becos the flow is stronger on its side. Polyps always looks half open onli..

think the rainbow likes the position it's in. The polyps are always open!

my biggest polyp of ric. It's just a single mouth polyp, but its about 2.5" in diameter!

My other green acan. Somehow i tink the colour faded quite a bit. Anyone can suggest how to improve the colouration of acans?

damn it... came back home today to find the same acan drop again and landed on the echinatas. This time it came off as the loser.... lotsa polyps melted.

I have 2 x Sand Dollars, 2 x Sand Shifting stars. That's all the cleaning crew i have. I don't stir the sand bed or such, just leave it to the sand dollars and stars to shift them.

this was the original LR when i just bought it. Tink the initial few patches of the coralline helps to "seed" the rocks. Bad news is in recent 1wk or so, can see some of the coralline "receding" away.... dunno why leh.

Side view shot. Just changed one of my Actinic blue tube to white tub. Now running on 3 white, 1 actinic. Afraid the sps do not have sufficient light if using 2 white 2 blue. Somehow, the tank looks strangely white. Still prefer the bluish look.

see the original base of the monti when i got it yest. Filled with disgusting green nuisance algae. Overnight, my sally lightfoot crab cleared the 2 rocks of all algae! now the base rock is sparkling clean, as can be seen from the full tank shop pic.

like the multi colour of the tank now. Think the clams helps in the contrast of colours. Previously it's all green n red, at least now got blue. No more space in my tank liao....

The second one. Is this called superman monti? Read somewhere that superman monti is the term given to those with 3 colours. This one is onli 2 colours- Purple base with red polyps. Confused by all these terms.

Hi, i bought the reef octopus becos it's cheap and it looks kinda like H&S The recirculating ones design are like deltecs! But i'm not saying they're as good as deltecs or H&S. I've never tried them before. I think the recirculating ones will skim better than the non recirculating ones. Have not tried it myself cos when i bought the NW110, the recirculating ones are not out yet. Would hv gotten the recirculating ones if i have a choice then. Price wise i'm not too sure. U can check wif the sponsor here, AM. They carry this brand of skimmers. U should also check with the macro users, then make ur own choice which is the one u prefer. Cheers!
