anyone spotted peppermint shrimps? looking for them.... -
Hi all, Can anyone advice where to get KZ's AAHC (Amino Acid High Concentrate)? Went to AM, ML, Reborn, Harlequin, all don't sell this. Where can i get this product? Thanks all!
-
what i did was to let the water from outlet pipe flow into a basket filled with wool. Significantly reduce the micro bubbles from the outlet pipe.
-
Thanks bro. btw, where's Aqua Mart ? Will definitely post the pics if i try it. Btw, for those who wanna mod their outlet pipe like i did, the size is 1 inch PVC grey pipe. Fits nicely to the original pipe.
-
Hi, sorry was not monitoring the thread for a while. I've just modified the outlet pipe a week ago. I don't have a digicam at the moment, will post a pic soonest. I modified the pipe by adding a control valve, followed by a T-joint, and thereafter allow the water to flow thru a basket filled with wool. Hope you understand wat i meant. Over the wkend i was trying to look for a bigger flowrate needlewheel pump but can't find any. Any one here can advise me where to get OR or Aquabee needlewheel? I wanna upgrade the needlewheel to about 2000L/hr. Currently the pump (1000L/hr) is alrite, just that i tot a 2000L/hr pump will greatly improve the performance. I'll take pics soon once i hv a digicam. Currently my 2ft cube is over loaded with fishes, and i feed them heavily. Tank parameters are still fine. PO4 is always bet 0-0.03 using Salifert test kit. Can't seem to bring it down to 0 think due to my crazy feeding habit. No3 is constant at 5ppm. So far so good, no nuisance algae in my tank. Cheers!

Hi, I was at LCK 110 in the evening. Lotsa nice open brain, blasto, super sun coral. Quite a number of nice ones to choose. I bought a blasto from there. Also have lotsa cynarinas and clams. They also have lotsa blue, yellow, purple tangs. Flame angels, bicolour angels etc. Best thing is the fishes are all feeding on pellets! If u're looking for brains, blasto or super sun, think you'll be able to find something u like there. -

Can keep SPS with seawater?
drato11 replied to drato11's topic in SPS and Advanced Reefkeepers Forum
Thanks for the advice. I'm gonna try some simple frags first before committing. Cheerios! -
Hi all, Been keeping LPS for a while, wondering if anyone here has success keeping SPS with seawater bought rather than salt mix. I'm keen to try out SPS, but not sure if can keep them as i'm using seawater. I'm using MH, tank temperature about 26-27deg. NO3 bet 5-10, phosphate undetectable. Also understand that SPS are not tolerant of NO3 n phosphate. is NO3 of 5-10mg/l alright for SPS? Appreciate any kind advice.

Thanks to all for the advice. Happy New Year to all! Happy Reefing!

Hi augustine, thanks for your advice. I guess i'll just leave it alone for it to recover. Target fed the brain just now and it's eating well. Guess it'll be fine. Thanks again
