I've not tested mine for a long time oredi. Previously when I just started marine, I trial & error with different brands of "reputatable" salts. In the end still stick with Marine Environment. When i used to test ME salt, used to consistently get 1350-1400 level.

Chaetos are easy... wat they need is flow of water thru them. Lighting wise, I'm able to get them to grow quickly using just those 8W energy saving lights. However, i believe small amt of chaeto doesn't help much in nutrient export. You need a sizeable colony to see a difference in nutrient export. If ur tank is ok, no nuisance algae, u may not need it at all (especially just in a small betta box)

bro, u know the light holder i'm using from ikea? cost just 3.90 with a screw on holder to screw to ur horizontal piping. Then get a energy saving 11W philip bulb and u're good to go! I'll try to take a pic of the bulb holder for u tomolo if u dunno what i'm refering to.

Haha... seems like it's getting more interesting. I was nearly conned by this 3rd person sometime back. Buy cheap from some clearance sale, then tried to con me telling me he bought from another reefer for $###### then onli selling me so cheaply when he never even used it. Luckily I was warned by other reefers via pm. Question him and his story gets more and more distorted. Finally he says "Even if i got that CR from H****** sale, selling u at this price also consider u got it cheap liao mah". Haiz, why must this kid try to cheat others? Make money the proper way, work hard, not try to come out with funny stories. And u still have the cheek to condemn others in this thread! We're all hobbyist here. All of us enjoy this hobby, that's why we're all here in SRC. We should be trying to help one another, rather than trying to make a quick buck from newbies.
