Bro, do u intend to keep any coral? If yes what type of coral? LPS? SPS? Softies? The pro z series alone is not enough for corals. The HOB filtet itself is not enough, u need at least 15 times ur tank water volume flow rate. Think of it this way, mechanical filter bio filter chemical filter are important to keep ur water para to keep fish and coral. Then follow by the right lights and wave.

[emoji41] after spending the last three days reading hundreds of SPS articles, websites, reviews, etc. I strongly believe that i have found a simple but effective way of colouring up SPS. based on my understanding of corals and optical reflex principal, i dont see any reason why this wont work. And the best part is that you can even choose the colour that your want your SPS to have. So guys, here you goes. If you want a quick colour change in your SPS, just go get a pair of coloured sunglasses... want more blue? Buy a darker blue lens sunglasses [emoji41]

I guess the main concern is where to store the waste water. I make around 50l of water everytime, that would mean i have to get a tube to store 150-200l of waste water...

One tip for using rowaphos in reactor, you can buy the TLF FR plastic sheet with tiny holes (<$10) and cut it to ur reactor size to prevent rowaphos from leaking into ur tank. To play safe, you can also add in a thin sheet of filter wood before and after ur rowaphos.

One way is to connect them in pararrel, using a T Joint and valve to control the flow. The other way is to get the bio pallet XL which does not require tumbling. Then output of this can be connected to rowophas. For me, i run two FR with bio pallets XL and biosphere seperately in each FR.
