  1. think about it, reefing world is funny and exciting. it really put game theory into test... for all successful bidders and already buyers for my LS and tank, i have some surprises for you guys... i believe it is going to be first of the kind in Pasar Malam (or even SRC)... once again thanks to all the bro who have visited me
  2. bro, thanks for your advise. this is at least a constructive comment. i thanks you for that. dont worry, i have my source for housing my blue tang if no one pick it up here.
  3. please... you sound as though your water condition sucks because of having minimal equipment (and you are proud of it... isn't it reefer responsiblity to have a top condition water?) water condition sucks not because of minimal equipment but because of the knowledge (or lack of it ) of reefer... what has the reefing world come to...
  4. i am not forcing anyone to buy, didnt i? whether my blue tang is healthy or not, the buyer will sure get to see it before paying it. dont think that everyone is a fool because you... as for PBT, please go check the market price of blue tang and PBT... to see which is more expensive... as for trying to make money out of this??? how much can i make out of this? the money cant even cover my lunch. price is what you pay, value is what you get ***for those who wanna keep blue tang, feel free to go LFS and buy it... it is not call ich magnet for nothing... ***for those who are not buying... why are you here??? there are three types of people in this world: people who make things happen; people who wait for things to happen; and people who DONT know what happen... to mod: mohn dont go to mountain, the mountain comes to mohn i promise i promise i promise
  5. mid size blue tang is around $25 per piece (in LFS)... if only there are half as "fat" (and eating almost anything) as mine... IMO, i think $60 for a pair of blue tangs with highest chance of surviving that one can get is not expensive... one can go LFS to buy blue tangs and pray hard that they eat... but what is the success rate like? 1 out of 2? 1 out of 3? 1 out of 4?... the fact is that healthy, eating and fat fish command a higher than market price just my reasoning for asking for a $60 starting bid of course, anyone can go LFS to buy 3 blue tangs (3*$25) and pray that they survive
  6. happy whole family view the blue tangs are just like mirror image of each other come and "adopt" them home fast ah...
  7. bid noted. Bro, i am sure you wont be disappointed by the quality of the angels. thanks.
  8. QT is to prevent the new blue tang to pass on the ich into the main tank. i remember reading someway that the stress that blue tang has to endure when transfer from QT to main tank will cause more harm than the benefit of QTing it... newly buy (stress -> ich) then QT (happy) then main tank (stress -> ich) so ... sorry to cut in: selling my pair blue tangs

  17. bro, given the size, i think water change will solve all your tank needs...
  18. Urgh... then the seahorse no more le??? yesternight when i stared at my almost empty tank, i was thinking if i were to come back to reefing what type of tank shall i keep, i have these few in mind: a) butterfly only with selected coral tank, a tank with copperband, longnose, threadfin, etc swimming amid corals is a sure eyes catcher... many anemone + many clowns + many suns, the orange/ yellow/ black of suns couples with different types of anemones with hosting clowns... breathless... c) pair seahorses, pair seahorses, pair seahorses, another beautiful tank. wanted to pick up a thing or two from your thread but now cant le... i though the initial idea is good, to have a different setting of tank (one type at home, one type at office) will expose you (and others) to different areas of reefing... any chance of you revising your plan for your office tank???
  19. Thanks Bro. just remember to bring container/ pail/ bags on sat. i also want to clear my LR and coral first first. come ah come ah...
  20. bro, the question now to think is where are you placing your seahorses? in the main tank or the sump? if in main tank, then you have to be very careful on the selection of fish for your FOWLR part, i think 99% of fish will out-eat seahores if in sump, then the problem is how to keep the temp low in a confined space (cabinet with doors) without chiller? fan/s wont help much in a confined space. the bio-load has to be relatively high to test this new product, thus if the bio-load is low, cant really tell the power of it. just the questions that i will ask myself if i am doing the same setup.
  21. i read somewhere that bio-home works best in shaded area...
