"normal" angel i am not very sure. if i were you, i will buy the angel/ dwarf angels first, let them settle in and feed them fat fat. then i will next buy the clam... you have to try it before you know... cos not all angels eat all clams...

Hi! all see picture. so long as input = output, there wont be any issue of unaccountable water i.e. flow of tray 1, tray 2, tray 3, tray 4 is equal to input and output. the flow near tray 1 is fastest, tray 4 is slowest as water has to pass through 4 trays (more resistance) instead of 1 tray.i f input is 1000l and output is 800l then the caninster will leaks... or the other way round.... caninister runs only one one pump thus input will be same as output... can left leg walks faster than right leg??? it is the average that counts... hope this help : )

Bro, i think you will have to perform some water change. maybe 20% every other day.... for the recycling period, maybe you can stick to NSW, but when the cyle period is almost done, graudually change to salt. your tank water is not natural, try washing the filter wool every other day.

i think the tray nearer to the impeller will have the highest flow rate, where the try further to the impeller will have the lowest. the waterflow shall be slow down by the resistant of the wool in the first tray...

i think it is almost impossible as LED is more for viewing pleasure...

true, agree with you. a tank can only produce the max NO3 that it can, given its current LS. coral chip or not ,it wont increase NO3 to over it max. the question to be answer is: how do we reduce the NO3???

maybe can try live brine shrimp? filter the water and feed live brine shrimp only...
