Biohomme/ np bp xl/ bio-sphere are all good choice, if u r not using reactor, anything will trap debris lah. So one comp can keep all the bio filter then one comp keep AC and GFO.

If go bb your tang dragonnet hermit snail etc will have less feeding ground. Go look at a bb tank and one with sand, it is easy to judge which is more natural.

30/10/14 - Coraline algae/ Super suns/ Zoas FTS @ 30 Oct 2014 Coralline algae Less than three months into my tank, I am delighted to see coralline algae starting to grow… out of all the places, on my in tank skimmer. Hopefully, it will grow fast all over my tank and left no space for nuisance algae. Super sun Glued my super sun 2 beside my super sun 1, hopefully they make good neighbor and always open big big. Zoas Bought a few zoas under the influence of one LFS owner. I quite like the pinkest purple, but somehow the colours is not eye catching when surrounded by various more striking colour corals. Nothing much elst, counting down to my China trip and spending my bucks there buying good value items which are not available in SG LFS. Last some photos taken using my new humble Nikon D3200.
