Just to share, can use the skimmer cup for those air stone skimmer which comes with a airtube outlet on 9002 so that the skimmate can be released into a bigger container.

I am using 9002. Research 9001 too, freshnmarine has a demo set in active. Good powerful compact skimmer, if you dont mind the small amt of micro bubbles in ur tank tho.

Further clarify, the motor cannot be attached to the canister anymore because i broke it while trying to fix it. So unless you have an existing 2217 motor else this is of no use to you... but if you have existing eheim 600/ 2217 canister then good for spare parts

Theory says that AC might have absorb all ur organic waste before ur water reaches ur skimmer. If i were u, i will just remove the AC for two weeks and see how the skimmer reacts.

Most reefers dont lose interest over time, they lose it over failures... first six months will decide how far and long your hobby will last loh.

Bro, in that case u can either monitor the algaes in ur tank or measure your N and P alternate days to estimate. But my experience is that BB is like inlaws, u know that they will come eventually but you wont know when they will come...
