hi! Do peppermint shrimp come out only at night to eat??
i bought a peppermint shrimp many many months ago but have never seen it again! Yet recently i notice my tank has no more aipstasia.
What is killing the aipstasia?
Confirmed not eaten by fishes, unless foxface?? nay.....

if you know which LFS have! please let me know too!!
Thanks!
Okie thanks man!!! hmmm still withinin my budget but now must think how to go there.... i afraid go there again then no more stock....
btw, anyone saw tiny sailfin tang as well? Thanks!
So many Prata! but strange go diving never see these type of corals b4????
Just back from Iwarna, raining damn heavy.
still got left the following when i left
small french x 2
tiny rock beauty x 2
tiny queen quite a few
Blue angel also a few
royal gamma plenty
peppermint shrimp also plenty!
no F. RIC!!!!!!!
Just an experience to share:
I have read online that mostly say this fish is reef-safe but after 3 attempts, i conclude that it is NOT!!
My latest coral casulty is an orange plate and a leather.
have lots of algae for this fellow to munch on but notice sometime still decide to bite my corals!!!!
Maybe algae blenny is a better choice for algae control but damn ferocious fish also!!!
I am using a fan! no air-con but i think my water is cool enough, around 27-28C
on 24hrs everyday! and the evaporation for me is also 3 litres a day. 1 bottle of 1.5l coke bottle when i wake up.. 1 more bottle of water around evening time.
troublesome? yes but used to it already. anyway i also mixed kalkwasser in the bottle of water b4 topping up!
Anyone letting go their clam? here're the "criteria" i am looking for!
- small! less than 2 inches (edited)
- prefer attached to rock
- BLUE!!!!!! nice solid blue!!
- staying at potong pasir, prefer east or central!
please PM me your cost!
Thanks!
yah i think most of the indo fishes are caught using cynanide..
just checking, since the cynanide is injested by the poor fish, when it dead, will the cynanide be released into our tank, in the process killing other fish?
yah i really hope the price of these lovely fish will shoot up to maybe $100 per piece so to deter people from trying or testing them in their tank!!
My experience:
1. buy on Saturday
2. Swim around for 3 days
3. Don't want to eat, then disappear
4. Couldn't find the dead body
5. algae boom, water condition goes down.....
