Saw brazil queen, french, flameback angel, spanish hog, cuban hog and rock beauty today at REBORN. Was told shipment came on sat. CHEERS

Cuban hog is a average fish to keep. I kept 3 cuban 2 years ago all lasted a week or 1 month except the last one for 8 month die due to attack by clown trigger. If the cuban came from carribean, $100 is reason, if brazilian species, $60 to 70 is ok. But be fair to the lfs that brings in the fish, they need to cover the freight, DOA( dead on arrival ) choose a 4 to 5 inch not sunken head or pinch tummy. My little piece of advise. Book says this fish is very hardy or this species should be left in the wild, to my exprience and other who are in this hobby, i feel that it all depend on luck even if you choose a very healthy or you have very good water parameter. Do you agree?

Can someone pls advice me whether is it safe to keep those flasher and fairy wrasses in the reef tank . Will they occasionally pick on coral ?

Thanks alot acidjazz and ktlk. No choice what i can collect so far bubble, acant,and blasto. LOokin very hard for red and orange prata. aiya me giving up hunting for it liao. Btw, i had been keeping marine since 1984. Coral and fishes since then are much more superior than now. Me never succeed in reefing reason is everytime result obtain, everytime destroy by the beauty of the angel like flame. So me more into angel than reef tank. My OC love corals after seeing the coral tank of my friend MP in odeon katong and given permission to setup this tank my action is chong! before she change her mind ha ha . Me had been reading this forum from fishes to reefing. I was impressed by some reefer unselfishness willing to share their hard work to others. Btw is this orange ACAN special friend of my gave it to me.
