this morning small white patch .. now this big and red .. scales like being scraped off sigh .. hoping it's not some disease or what..

junk eaters.. they eat anything i throw in.. use pellets n mysis mix since they are supposedly carnivorous mine also love henry's mix.. shud see them eat..

thanks for the info.. the ios is fenced.. so scratching head how they got thru.. guess i'll keep the balls then since they are splashed but not submerged

hi.. pair of firegobies n pair of purple gobies.. v nice n its rite bout lfs quality n quantity.. 4 gobies now seldom being attacked by my devil's damsel.. buy 3-4 firefish.. sure ok wan.. then acclimatised liao sell off excess my experience wif lfs.. certain lfs i buy the fish never last 1 week.. max 2 weeks.. certain lfs last from day 1 until now (lck 110 n auntie neighborhood shop )

they are nitrate factory? if they are why are the LFS using it? they don keep the fish long enough? just found one of my gobies at the bottom of my IOS today.. suspected that my yashia did the same (only found decomposed pile) a few weeks ago pain to remove all the balls to catch my goby so thinking of removing them totally just in case again

thanks very much for this review.. went to buy a refracto just to be sure.. I've been running my tank at 1.032 for a long while!! no wonder i have so much problems with fish adapting! i lowered the salinity (good time to change water!) to 1.026.. to think i was on 1.023 with a hydrometer!.. not even close.. mine was 'calibrated' for 25 degrees celcius somemore... next drop salinity to 1.023

my powder brown died within 4 days with no signs of itch.. the blue is alive kicking feeding (x fingers) 4 2 weeks now.. skitch spots on the fins but i'm dousing medicine daily.

maybe two weeks or so.... didn't bother to check as i have no interest in clams.. only found it when i transferred it to my new tank..like last week dunno how it was when i got it..looks edible though it does seems like its healing.. now got foto to compare.. hole is smaller.. but still white not purplish yet..

at first thought its a tangaroa goby .. but the fins are black leh .. this one clear / whitish ..

if at all is a goby ? it has a super long antenna like the yashia

water parameters Sal - 1.023 No2 - 0 No3 - ~12ppm (tetra) PH - 8.0 PO4 - ?? Ca - ?? no tester for phospates and calcium oh yes .. looks like the mantle is healing up .. the lobang not as big as before .. er .. do they heal over time in the 1st place is or is my mind playing tricks on me ?
