Any fishes bigger than a Mandarin will tend to take a peck it its tail fin and top fin especially when the Mandarin is introduced into the tank last. After awhile the big fishes will leave it alone and the Mandarin learn to hide among rocks to siam (avoid). But sometimes some big fishes will continue to harrass it. Maybe they took a bite and found it tasty shiok.

I noticed my Powder Blue Tang one eye len is swollen but clear, not cloudy. The other eye is OK. Still eating well. Any bros have the same experience? All advice are welcome. thanks!

I have a Blue (Dory) Tang with me for more than 3 years. It used to be fat but after changing from one tank to another it is now skinny until can see rib cage. It is still healthy and rushing for food but still remains skinny. Any bros have the same experience?

I have not tested the water parameters for nitrate and I am lousy at testing. I normally check by visual whether fishes are OK, corals opening more, etc. Any improvement? Yes. But still I will eventually get a denitrator when I have time to meddle with the tank. That's all bro.

If no black spots on body only on face and fish is well, it is OK. Very common feature of Blue Tang. Nothing to worry about.

Hi bro, I have a CL650. The sound comes on only when chiller cut-in. Fan sound. When cut out the sound is 'tock" and it goes pretty quiet until the next cut in. hope tis info helps.
