Close up of green zoos...the one at the right corner of my FTS...

My clown, just bought it 3 days ago and doesn't seems to be eating yet... I tried formula one(small pellets), frozen mysis shrimp frozen brine shrimp, but dun wan to eat any of these...only see it use it mouth to touch it or put in and spit it out... Anyone can help me get it to eat? Should I try live brine shrimp or is there other alternatives? Pls advice...

Do they eat diatoms or any other algae? I saw mine eating a bit of coraline algae, perhaps there is some diatoms or some other things over there and it accidentally eat some of the coraline algae?

I heard and see lots of website saying these snails will remove diatoms...Okay, then I think I will be going to get some sand dollar from ML... How much would one sand dollar cost at ML? And how many sand sifting stars and sand dollars do I need for my tank(2ft x 1.5ft x 1.5ft)? I have about 3 inches of sand...

Where to find this types of snails? Astrea, Cerith, Nerite, Trochus and Margarita snails? Which LFS have these? Need it to help control my diatom on my sandbed...thanks in advance for any help!

And wat other things can be fed to algae blenny other then algae?

What type of algae does a Algae Blenny eats? Diatoms? Green algae? or izzit some other kind of algae? And does an Algae Blenny eat amphipod or copepods? I hope they dun...haha

I think I am already done with my cycling, cos my ammonia and nitrite are both showing at 0ppm...Anyway, my rocks are cured rocks when I got it from the reefer...my meaning of cycling is the nitrogen cycle...not the cycling/curing of rocks...I think I will try with a shorter photoperiod like maybe just on the lights for arouund 5 or 6 hrs to see if there is any improvement... If there is still no improvement then maybe I will get some cleanup crews...I think my tank is ready for some algae cleanup crews, I can get a sea hare and some astrea snails or maybe an algae blenny(lawnmower blenny) to help in keeping the diatoms/cyano and the green algae in control...

I tot of turning off my lights completely, but I have got some ricordea and mushrooms and some polyps and some kind of flowery, or should i say look a little like palm trees and swaying around with the flow, tat are already inside and is growing very nicely...it came along with the live rocks tat I gotten from another reefer here... I think I will start changing water with distilled water first, then maybe will buy a DI unit to purify my tapwater...So, now all that I need to do is wait for it to clear off? Do I need to scrub off anything myself or do I just let nature take its own course?

How to get rid of cyano and green algae? any other methods other than scrubbing it off? like maybe buy some livestock to get rid of it? I got cyano growing on my sandbed...And also got green algae and cyano growing on some of the live rocks... My tank is 2ft x 1.5ft x 1.5ft...and the tank have been cycling for around 2-3 weeks already...Is is because of my light tat causes it? I on my lights for 12 hours a day when I started to cycle my tank which is after I put my live rocks in...All bros please help, I wan my tank to remain clean clean look...And I think it is also because I am using tapwater...But I top up with distilled water though....haven done any water change yet at the moment...cos I am still cycling...but I think the cycle have just finished as the ammonia and nitrite is at 0ppm...Hope there is I can just put fish in to help eat away all those...Thanks in advance for any help from all the bros out there!

I found a small packet of trace elements in my 150 gallon bucket coral life salt. I opened one bag(50 gallon mix) and used about half of it then notice this blue packet inside. It says "trace elements" on the packet. Can anyone tell me how to use it? It says use 1 packet for one bag of salts(50 gallon mix). Do I have to add this thing before I have those essential elements stated on the website, like calcium, magnesium and etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Is kalkwasser good for long term usage?? wat is the difference between a kalkwasser and those calcium additives. For example, aquaz kalkwasser premium and aquaz calcium premium...what is the difference? does both of them raise calcium?? if yes, why need to have 2 different types?
