why is raw water better than filtered water to the refugium??? And it's okay for the sand to be on top, becos in my design, it was fine sand on top and coarse sand below... Anyone knows of any good shop that help make sump tank that looks like the above concept at cheap price? Or do any bros out there have any to let go??? one of my blue legged hermits have been staying in one corner for about a weeks time already, and I saw one of its leg near it that most probably have broken off...When molting will their leg come off? The hermit is still alive though, but it only stays at one corner...Another blue legged hermit of mine is very active though...my water conditions and stuff like tat should be all okay...since my other livestocks including 2 clownfishes, hector's goby, algae blenny and some zoas and mushrooms are all doing great...

Anyone knows where to get shells for blue legged hermits? And does the hermit molt within their shells? How long would it take to molt if it does molt?

Thanks alot bro...But the maximum tank size my stand can accomodate is the size I stated above 2ft x 18inches x 18inches...I can only get those that is smaller or same as this dimension...

Anyone got a sump tank that looks like the below concept and is 2ft in length? Preferably 2ft x 18inches x 18inches...But anyone with a 2ft sump tank that looks like this can PM me or reply to this post...Would gladly consider it if it is not too far off from the dimensions I stated above...

I heard ppl say squirt hot water into the hole they are in...but can a pippette sustain the boiling hot water? I think the pippette will melt...any advice on how to squirt hot water at it?

anyway to catch it by not removing rocks?? cos the rockz they are in quite difficult to trake out...will PM u jacobus if i ever manage to catch it...

I noticed that I have 2 mantis shrimps in my tank...very very small sized...And it is quite near to my eagle eyes zoas...Will it be of any danger to my zoas?

Yupz...it is possible to pair true clown with false clown...I have seen it done before by other reefers...But I wonder what will the offsprings be like...lolz

I dunno which one is male and which one is female...but the true perc i bought at CF is bigger then the one bought at reborn...I purposely buy a bigger one so that there will be a greater chance of pairing...
