5-6 months then change 1/4 of the tank's water??? So long then change water once??? Wah...no skimmer also can like tat ar? I still scare my fishes die, so every 1 week change one time, some times got mood 3 or 4 days change liaoz...and my tank is 2ft x 18inches x 18inches somemore...Guess I can get thru even if I change water monthly...

AQUATIM or PhytoFeast LIVE is better? Which is more concentrated in phytoplanktons? Which is better for corals growth like sps, lps, clams and soft corals?

I want a sandbed so as to have amphipods and copepods inside...Plus it adds in denitrifying... As I am gonna keep mandarin in my main tank which is 2ft x 18inches x 18inches

Can 2 tubes of NO light support LPS??? haha...So will T5 HO 2 tubes suffice for lps,sps and clams???

Leaving live rocks out of water for an hour or 2 is surely not a problem...There was once when I leave my live rocks out of water for about 2hrs plus...and everything is still fine...But it would be best if u find a pail or 2 and fill it up with saltwater to the correct salinity(ard 1.024)to put the live rocks in and place a pump inside for circulation if u are to leave it overnight...Best if can find a big tub when u have lots of rocks and place a pump to create flow for circulation...then when u bringing to office then place in a pail without water then bring...as it can be out of water for 1 or 2 hours...

Interested to know...I have a similar tank size as urs...but mine not so nice like urs...only using 2 tubes Dymax NO lights...Where did u get ur T5 HO 4 tubes from? How did u mount it in ur tank? Not on the hood ritez? cos I read from ur thread tat it is DIY using some cardboard like materials...I wan to get my lights from DE lightings but the lights they have is for mounting on to hood kind...

Nopez...Not yet bought any plants...I am still making my sump/refugium tank...Glueing the arcrylic sheets...So I can just link my main tank with the sump/refugium tank? I am using live sand...and cured LRs...probably buy it from CF...although expensive but I think it is really fully cured...anyway, I wont need much for my refugiums...so the LRs dun nd too much...

Currently have a 2ft(length) x 18inches(width) x 18inches(height) with normal Dymax 2 tubes NO lights(14w white lights/14w atinic)...Have some soft corals like zoos, mushrooms and star polyps...all doing very well...Now thinking for more corals of other types... So I decided to change the lightings so that I can keep LPS and SPS corals and also clams... Am wondering if I need a 2 tubes or 4 tubes T5 HO...Planning to buy from DE lightings...Which is better??
