yah man.. blastos only 20odd those days.....then came the prata fever, yuma fever, blasto fever.....then morphed to acans fever.... nowadays better buy what you like before the next trend catches on, you never know if what you like will be the Next In-Thing

shhhhhhhhhhhh....only running 1 atomic-splitting pump now hor but then seriously...quite a number of us failed his skimmer criteria already...look around us...who has skimmers worth more than USD600 in their systems... and i think he cannot expect a large home aquarium or public aquarium to run on tiny skimmers can he? seriously comes down to what one needs to keep what he is keeping. given such an environmental tone he is portraying in his article, shouldn't he be lobbying against performance cars that burn tons of gasoline and adding more to pollution than our cleaner-in-comparison skimmers? it's akin to saying everyone should just drive small cars, or rather, dun drive at all and ride bicycles

oh yah.... exotic to some selected few.....but weird it wasn't much of a trend seriously to the general reefers.. but nonetheless we see coral trends, fish trends, skimmer trends....and now, even giving up the hobby is becoming a trend

yah man....there are always leaders and followers around that's why i stopped posting corals altogether...when i started the hobby i bought blastos and pratas at 20plus to 30plus even for red ones and after people see juicy pictures in local and overseas sites, went up a few folds ... geee....i was telling my friend...wonder if one day will leathers be sold at sps prices maybe a few juicy macro shots of leathers will do the trick

in my personal intepretation, i feel that it is the anemone that is giving a home to the clowns rather than the clowns giving a home to the anemone...as such...the anemone is the host and the clowns are guests invited to take shelter in the home. As such, i would personally choose to express it as: The anemone is hosting the clowns

actually chelsea has always been underachieving for many years despite the quality of their players..... it's time to give their supporters something to cheer about At least the trophy will be going from one London neighbour to another Keep it in London for a couple of years more yah?

Explore up to Sunshine Coast and then come back down to Brisbane before catching your flight home lor..... The 3 places of GoldCoast, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane should be able to fill your 12-13days easily.

It is damn far my friend... I drove once from Goldcoast to Sunshine coast and its almost like singapore driving to KL.....

dispar can collect 10 of the known hybrids around...with probably some other unknown hybrids as well..hehe It goes like this: Region A has predominantly one species of dwarf and Region C has predominantly another species of dwarf....inbetween the 2 regions is the overlapping region B whereby hybrids will be found. http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2003-02/hcs3/ -

ok lah...to sum it all, i think we have to apply common sense when it comes to this issue lah. one should not put a 1ft fish in a 2ft tank for example.. and when one puts a 1inch fish in a 2ft tank, he should apply common sense when to give it up to a bigger home before it has no space to grow properly let common sense prevail -

ya..bottomline is that if we can give what we keep a good home and what we keep can give us a good time, then it is a win-win situation for us as well as the fishes we keep -

i think the general consensus is to know what we are doing lor... just like keeping a full size arowana in a 4ft tank, i am sure long before the time our tangs grow to the size of a full size arowana, we would have common sense to find alternate accomodation for them already -

that's why i maintain that although there are individual specimens that will deviate from their general behaviour... reef-safe percentages are still higher for tangs compared to even dwarf angels in general for 1 tang that will nip corals...i am sure there will be many more dwarf angels that will nip corals
