how tall and how wide is the skimmer chamber? if it is of the same size as those H&S and the bubbles are chopped as finely...then it will be a good skimmer

day 6: body still faint in colour...just like tangs at night or stress...but i see it swimming casually and slowly...mouth not panting...doesnt seem to be in stress....maybe he see all around him is the toyogo tub material so he thinks its no day in there no sudden jerks or scratching also....mid body cross section still fat..... will put him in a tank tomorrow at least can let him see more light and see if his spots are there or not... but from where i can see now, not obvious...but he is still not eating much

no problem.... it was a simple chlorine problem...but pub decided to add chloramine as yazid said... many brands of such chlorine/chloramine remove products around.... happy choosing...personally i use seachem prime....but i am sure there are better ones around

search around for keyword chloramine in yahoo the first few sites already have all the answers

day 5 update: still fighting on, no signs of scratching against objects...no signs of erratic swimming styles....just general lightening of the body tone.... hanging on..hanging on...

they have been reported to clean the fishes but most are pretty much scavengers instead....not sure they are effective or not in respect to ich....i have a pair with me over 2 years...through tank migrations and all, both are pretty laden with green eggs all the time
