true also... but like i said lor...unless my teco work all the time until cannot keep at 27 then really have to change liao.... comparing 1/2 hp from chiller to chiller will have varying performance also.. 1/2hp atman to 1/2 RR to 1/2 TR to 1/2 Teco to 1/2 artica to 1/2 haliea chiller...all numbers....but actual performance in practical use differs.... even same models may have different performance due to operating environment differences, and with such ambient sensitive equipment like chillers, may differ alot.... i still marvel how my 1/2hp teco can keep my 6ft tank, 5ft sump and 2ft clam tank at set temperature...and all my pumps are internal...i never ran those pumps externally...hehe i am sure the 1/2hp artica can do as well or most probably even better than my current teco at keeping my set temperature, but if i really wanna change chiller, i seriously think i should go for the 1hp...hehe.... that's my view based on my tank conditions so far artica 1hp, here i come after my teco gets faulty artica artica, bring me to anthartica

bro bwilly: i use arcsoft photostudio 2000 only..abit backward hor..hehe just use it to rotate, resize and crop...all the colour tones never adjust...straight from the sony white balance...that maybe i chose wrongly..hehe anyway, tanzy and terry PM me teaching me how to do whitebalancing liao...many thanks to them

bro, u mean the socalled using your own white card and get a white balance ah....heard about such things but never explore my manual...manual as crisp as new...lol.. just use auto most of the time and when take the tank...i switch to P and take using the white balance at the whitelongbar with dots...hehe paiseh...not camera whizz...all those aperture, exposure settings dun ask me..i dun even know how to control them or hold them fixed with my cam

yeah..may be too yellow.... coz i use pure AUTO and the colours very the yellow cos my bulbs are BLV 10KK, so i gei kiang anyhow anyhow go to P and choose the white long bar with many dots...then not so yellow...but end up so disney colour... use other white balance worse, end up whole tank look more blue or yellow.... seems like cannot get a middle ground leh...really must use photoshop to edit the tones ah..very troublesome leh...

oh yeah...can it be due to the wrong white balance i use while shooting? what white balance from the sony range should i use to shoot under MH ah... all along i think i set the white balance to the white long bar with many dots

seriously thinking of it if i wanna upgrade chiller... my current teco 1/2hp can sustain my 27deg set temp....so if i end up wanna change, no point buying another 1/2 hp that can sustain 27 set temperature right? either change to 1hp or dun change and continue with my teco lor

1hp is about 12 000BTU if you see your aircon is 12 000BTU...means running your aircon of 12 000 BTU is about the same consumption as a 1hp chiller for the same runtime....thats just a very coarse estimation, real consumption may be way off, me not electrical expert

why no one bite the bullet and go for the 1hp? all scared waste electricity ah...me also...

yellow tang about 3/4 the size of the AT...so may fight...but then again...they are of different tang family...so maybe he may leave AT alone..... just like all my tangs left my chevron tang alone...maybe thinking he wasnt a tang at all..hehe but the black tang genna from YT alot....now he just contented to swim most of the time in the back channels...i specially left a vege clip at the back of the rockworks for him....hehe...

but i scared genna bullied by my YT, so must put him into the tank under the cloak of darkness, at least give the AT a few hours of leadtime to get used to the environment
