yeah lor....i like round round things...even my body shape is round
-
abit lah..if u notice my center RBTA not facing alot to the front anymore..have to move a few rocks around that area...not major rescape lah..but little adjustments here and there so that i can place more corals on the left slope anyway, this was how the tank looked like in december last year...so clean and neat
-
-
after a minor rescape.... still trying to improve.....hopefully very soon can sit back and see the fruits of the effort and money put in
-
personally i have not bought the pumps but i know i would have gone for tunze streams if i wanted more flow... the smallest tunze model 6060 offers 6000l/hr flow at $170-$180 the M820 offers 3200 Litres/Hr at $118.00 furthermore the tunze is made in germany just more cost effective as $ per flow, the tunze wins by quite abit but the seio pumps would be suitable for nano to small tanks that would otherwise be churned up like a food blender by the tunze streams
-
should be ok...but try to give the shells a thorough wash and scrub
-
unless you can find alternative uses for the pump..means using the pump for the return and other stuff like chiller? skimmer? or other equipment...then you can share the flow or use a smaller pump as suggested also
-
yeah, if by covering the airhole to get the full siphon effect still cannot solve the problem, then cutting the standpipe will make no difference since both are at full possible downflow already... the next step would be adding ibox or DIY PVC pipe overflow
-
if your pump is too powerful, playing around with the airhole may not help much.. either u get add an I-box to your system, overflow PVC pipe system that some have DIYed here, or cut off the durso at the standpipe...but that will mean you will get a very noisy ###### sound as the water drains itself.... but i also wonder if an open end standpipe of 25mm can drain fast enough for your pump perhaps you should use back your extrema while u slowly think of the options available
-
yeah...ML came a few nice pieces yesterday just nice for your tank, small and cute...reasonable looking teardrop also
-
better ask weileong, his camera put our f828s to shame.... no noise at even high ISO settings...that's DSLR anyway, maybe u can get those stainless steel planting tweezers to pluck the algae out...coz sometimes u may end up knocking some sps over or breaking them like my frens...hehe those plastic tweezers dun offer much grip strength to wrang the algae out...
-
nice maybe can stack the rocks abit higher.. but one thing i noticed about divider tanks is that the slopes are very steep and very challenging to place sps esp on the mid slopes..... cos even for a 3ft width tank, you get only 1.5ft on each main side of the tank to slope the rocks...and this makes mounting sps very challenging... nonetheless, well done alfa

i was so overwelmed with the program that i forgot to take captures

after some thinking, finally decided against it.....feel like taking a rest and enjoying what i have now rather than get in the hustle and bustle of doing something new again...

congrats man.... i think i better dun try sps lah...i still want to feed my fishes heavily even after the monster beckett is up....wait end up spoil more sps..lol if i wanna see sps, just hope over to some frens sps tanks nearby and oogle lor.... at home then i just oogle at the fat bums of my tangs

yeah yeah... i also about to retire from the lfs scene and move on to other important stuff..... but hor, remember i wanna cherry cherry hor
-
hehe... that's why i have to spread them around...if not part of my tank machiam become the red sea...hehe some of these cuties were held in my sump and 2ft tank before i decided to rescape my tank these few days...still got many goodies haven't find a place to put in the main tank in fact, recently i have been stocking on the green and other colours....but my tank considered quite full already...i need to stock some common torch coral, frogspawn....before finishing...heee now it's time to buy the other non-red corals which are cheaper than to join the rush for red stuff nowadays when lfs tend to price them like crude oil
-
anyway, i better start naming my buttons... Button Beatrice Button Belinda Button Belle Button Bernice Button Bess Button Beth Button Betsy Button Betty Button Bonnie Button Brenda Button Bridget just nice a female soccer team, i call them Button Brigade their coach is the pinkred yuma nearby
