weileong: still trying to improve lah.....but much better than when i was using my previous camera definitely..still got lots to learn from you and your camera..hehe my one and only royal gramma... can see its cool slit across the eye
-
-
one of my blackcap grammas.....ever since the bartletts moved in..... both are not hovering in open water as often as before....because i think of the aggresive bartletts...

very cute leh..... dun waste the space hor....rear snails also good...hehe maybe i ask u pass me a few to try try..hehe my neons today....never really see them cleaning my tangs...i think they more engrossed in exploring the tank than doing serious cleaning work
-
now i wonder if i can rear anything in the chamber..... i saw some snails living in weileong's skimmer hehehe

wah....means its more blue than BLV 10KK yet whiter than phoenix 14KK? wow...just the bulb i am looking for... you got it where? eyelighting? so eyelighting has the Aqua2 20kk but not the Aqua 50kk ah?
-
one less choice for us then.... http://www.eyelighting.com/colorhid.html just realised that instead of 50KK, they have 20KK also.. they call 50KK AQUA and 20KK AQUA2.... stated that they have UV-cut coating on their bulbs to see how much their UV-block coating cuts down UV... http://www.eyelighting.com/ss/EQS-N-52-84-00006.pdf some reefers like nicky30092002 say that their 50KK is more likely 14kk-looking...i wonder how will their 20KK look? should be quite interesting... i myself thinking of changing from BLV 10KK to phoenix 14KK....maybe the 20KK aqua2 would be better for me.. but too bad like orgasbt say, the singapore arm doesn't bring in the full range of bulbs
-
any websites of this product?
-
just type the company name eye lighting in www.yellowpages.com.sg under company name selection and you will get the address... another good place to get such info is www.thegreenbook.com.sg very useful to find things that we may want
-
it always helps to check the yellowpages u know... especially when the company name is already given sigh Eye Lighting Asia Pacific Pte Ltd 21 Kaki Bukit Pl #04-00 Tel : 6742 3611

eye lighting if i am not wrong
-
ahhhhhhhhhh....now we know... thanks.... but whether UV coating or not..it's always better to have a piece of glass between the bulb and the tank to prevent water splashing on the bulb
-
other DE bulbs for reef use of 10KK and above, so far i haven't come across one that has UV coating but for SE...all wattages and color temperatures generally have UV coating
-
yea..osram has proprietary *UV-stop* feature on their 150W DE bulbs..but sadly...the highest kelvin from osram is only about 6000K or even less....they have 4000K also

-
hehe... somehow fishes aren't as stupid as we think hor.... when others stand in front of the tank...i notice the fishes behave more frantic than the normal days when i am standing in front of the tank... but i am sure whenever they see me...one word comes to their minds... FOOD and when weileong wips out his d70....oh oh.....hiding time
-
terry: maybe your fishes more big-shot.. must make appointment with them before photoshoot...lol u must go find out who is the secretary of your tank first...and then arrange schedule for photoshoot..hehe generally i think it's a matter of letting your fishes get used to people walking around and standing in front of the tank often...once they see no big deal with that....then they wun be so shy.... but of coz armed with a camera is a different thing....our fishes can definitely tell the difference when we are holding cameras or holding their food..
