paiseh..the links wun work...u just go to osram website..then click lights for general use then go to high intensity discharge lamps and then metal halides...then u can see all their specs list for all their bulbs..hehe
-
issit the HQI-TS 150W daylight with UV-stop? see the sites below...osram never hits about 6000K http://catalog.myosram.com/srvc/z_myosram1...TM4MjAwNDM5MTc= http://catalog.myosram.com/srvc/z_myosram1...TM4MjAwNDM5MTc= http://catalog.myosram.com/srvc/z_myosram1...TM4MjAwNDM5MTc= the colours are 3000K for warm daylight, 4200K for neutral daylight...and finally 5200K for daylight... when i got my mh pendent, it came with this...very yellow..cannot tahan...went to change to BLV 10000K..hehe
-
BBB, do you mean metal halide or PL tubes? as far as metal halides are concerned, osram never made any 6700K bulbs...many people mistaken the colour temperature...in reality their socalled daylight mh bulb is only about 4000plus K..very yellow...hehe
-
thanks BBB, but then hor....maybe the baby powder is a vegetarian? lol... i put cyclopeeze, mysis, it didn't even look at them...lol... will try live brine tomorrow then
-
no wonder....geee....only the clowns gobble the mysis down...lol... must go get brine shrimp liao....
-
i think those are little tubeworms...great..it means you have lots of micro stuff in the water
-
this is the coral sand size 0...i believe some of the coral sand 0 is as fine as the earlier sand...but there are odd shapes and sizes in coral sand than the other sample...so it does not pack as compactly and tightly..
-
i tried frozen mysis....never eat leh...hmm...will try brine shrimp and see got any reaction... anyway, i did a comparison of the sand from my old 2 ft sump and the current 4 ft sump using coral sand size 0...my old sump sand is not coral sand...but i much finer and packs very tightly compared to coral sand 0...here are some pics....i cant seem to find this sand nowadays... this pic is the finer sand from my old sump
-
my powder blue not eating the veges or pellets leh...just nibbling at the rocks here and there....i worry for it....maybe its not aggressive because no appetite...no appetite means....one ticket to the grave..sigh..
-
thanks....many nicer tanks out there, but just that they never take photos of their tanks
-
good choice...the ignitor and capacitor of the metal halide is heavy and hot when in operation...
