oh yah! i remembered..how could i forget...that time my fellow was in my side tank and lvcap decided to shut down his tank and asked me if i could give his abt a home together with mine...i told him try to find others (forgotten if i had actually pointed him in your direction or not) who can give it a better home than ending up sparring everyday with my abt and yeah...if i am not wrong...either our abts are from the same shipment or yours is the one just after mine... if really same shipment..then our abts are *brothers*

dun bother. you need CITES for clams. -
ya..that's why if you see the shipment come in with quite a NUMBER of pieces...you should know why...as asfur have said... if out of the whole shipment only come 1 piece and you know that this lfs's supplier has not been shipping golden angels often...then maybe you can take a gamble. (yes, it helps if you have been keeping track of the lfs stocks regularly ) if the extent of cyanide poisoning is not too serious, the fish may be able to recover....however slim the chance may be..... and another thing as in buying all fishes, look for clear eyes, alert to the surroundings, no body damage, no heavy breathing, good swimming posture and so on.... and there is another thing about dwarfs....if it is easy for you to drop in the net and net it out almost effortlessly, then most probably it's a goner anyway... they should be very hard to catch as they are very nimble and agile in nature... buying a good fish does not only entail having enough dough in the wallet and bringing the catch home

hehe..but hor..it's not the best natural waveform achievable.... but probably the best at this price of the wavebox look at this old thread http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?...pic=16792&st=30 The flow is not exactly natural, the natural wave would be much longer but given the size of the device and ultimate in energy savings it is the best that can be accomplished and is the most natural flow available to hobbyists. So, the ideal flow system now is two Electronic Streams on opposite ends back corner aimed to the front center glass and operated on interval mode 2 on multicontroller 7095 with changes in pump operation every 6hrs or so. The wave box is coordinated and shuts off at night. This flow is a 50% approximation of what exists in the ocean and the best accomplished yet by any means. so the most ideal flow comprises the wavebox and 2 streams...but for small tanks...how to house so many things

ya..but u must be careful also..because this fish is very very shy and likes the rocks.....some take the easier way out by using cyanide

wah...LPS i am not too sure man... but we have seen the clips last year where 3 long tentacled plate corals became 'POM POM GALS' in the tank.... their tentacles were swinging left, right, left, right in unison... duno long term wise will the tentacles fly out or not again if too strong....throttle it back i guess....

yeah...if the black portion of your overflow gate is removable, just ask someone to cut wider or lower depending on your preference.... the main logic behind this is that you will need to clear a sudden surge of water whenever it reaches a maximum height at your overflow (as well as leave a suitable distance between the water surface and the top of the tank)...and if your overflow gate doesnt not drain fast enough, then flooding liao...hehe so that's the rationale behind altering the teeth of the gate the surge is referring to the surface of the water...the underwater current shouldn't cause a major storm but may shift the bed slightly like a ripple pattern that we have seen pictures of but again...if too strong, then just throttle it back lor..hehe
-
bro, you may have to cut the grooves lower or wider in case the gates cannot handle the max crest of the waveform when it surges.....or alternatively you may just have to adjust the wavebox for a more gentle crest

this kind of dwarf angels always come under: Intro WITH CAUTION tag.... pricewise may vary, not too sure...say around 40-50?
