it open up then i feed lor...now also opening full bloom...but i not feeding today...i think once or twice a week good enough other bros say use things to induce them to open lor..as long they smell food in the water...

it close up taking the prawn in and then open up again right in front of my eyes lor....very fast actually...

the actual colour should be near to this since last week still got many of these...other than the usual patterns...hehee...the big ones are easy to choose...its the small maximas that are hard to choose...hehe

dun say that lah..maybe last minute bro dersuz got some use for the item...at least he tells all openly that he wants to keep it instead of diam diam about it..... just like some buyers who vanish without a trace after reserving it....can't even have the decency to let the seller know that they dun want the item already...at least just keep the other party informed of your decision whether u are a seller or buyer lor...dun just vanish without a trace...

so i think u can use good glass like starphire to reduce the glass effect...then then tilt the clam to minimise the angle ..just now the clam was placed flat..almost like putting on the sandbed, thats why the angle through the glass was very big... so u place them on rocks tilted at an angle and use starphire glass..then will be quite close to the natural colours...hehe

got...the angle makes a difference already.....the glass used will compound the difference....and when u use ordinary glass and view from the front..the colour is way off.... but when u use acrylic or optically clear glass like starphire....at least the glass factor is eliminated or reduced dramatically... then its up to you to position your clams so that you get the best true colours..hehe it's angles and glass...i believe...

pardon my amatuer drawing ...i think the reasoning is this.. notice the difference in angles when viewing the clam mantle from near the top compared to from the front plane of the glass....and when u look through the glass at such an angle...the quality of the glass will affect the colours even more...

actually the reason is because when light shines directly downwards on the clam mantles and u look almost directly down at them also...that's when you see their true vibrant colours.. the problem comes when we place them in our high tanks and we cant everytime climb on top of ladders and stop all surface agitation to look down at the clams... thus when we look through the front plane of the tank...there is an angle between the light hitting the clam vertically and the light from the clam mantles to our eyes... this cause the difference of colours

seriously its the first time i saw yellow..i mean pure lemon yellow suncoral...other bros maybe see until dun want to see liao..but i suaku...that's why i diedie go grab... it din open at the time i bought...but opened up in my tank...so i fed it one polyp at a time...gf think i bo liao buy such a troublesome coral...haha
