thanks...those button corals can really swell...hehe.. the bubbles on the other hand...sometimes bloat big big...sometimes small..esp towards the end of the photoperiod...see if i can dig up any pics of the bubbles in bloom mode..

er....just aim and press the shutter lor...i take a few shots in macro mode and a few shots in normal mode....all fully automatic mode...lazy to try out the stuff in manual anyway..hehe ..unless i wanna change the white balance... but the picture is not edited for its colours...all under 10 000K BLV bulbs...

what concentrated in your ref? your clams you mean? hehe

yeah i may bring it over....the emerald crabs are very good algae eaters...very few cases whereby they attack fishes or shrimps...as long as there are enough algae for it to eat...but seriously after observing the crab...i think it's not agressive ...very peaceful looking...even the way it uses the claws to eat the algae is very graceful..not agressive at all..hehe a few emerald crab users here....maybe they can also contribute more to the testimonial of emerald crabs?

from marine life bro.. not brave lah....there are no more corals left in this 4ft tank..only 1 lonely gorgonian...lol and housing some fishes...and also bro blenny's coralfarm rocks before he collects them....then i either make it a permanent fish only tank or sell away lor....now it's my quarantine tank for my 6fter..hehe

anyway, i realised that there is alot of diatoms in my sump tank on the wool compartments where i trap debris......but somehow they did not appear in the main tank..i think its due to the high flow in the main tank and somehow they can only get a foothold in the sump tank.... thats why the main tank very clean..whereas the glass of the sump tank has diatoms....very queer

jia lat...i think i can split my clams into 2 teams liao...still got enough for substitutes..LOL brains easier to find nice ones than seafans...yeah..u are right...brains are quite nice..hehe

coz they dun look nice seeing from the tank mah...at least in my sump is looking from the top..machiam like a clam tank..hehe but i should be making a clam tank soon...still deciding acrylic or glass and the design details....then my sump can be a full fledged refugium...hehe... 25 big and small lah..not all big clams lah..hehe wah...first 11 ah... must start naming them liao....name them after Henry, Nistelroy, Zidane, Pires, Ronaldo.....hahaha

yum yum...hehee.. later i show you the clams in my sump tank....all 25 of them... yeah..the teardrop quite nice ...no more place in my sump tank to put...so i put this skyblue teardrop in the main tank.. yeah..nice seafans are hard to come by..always have some damage with them somehow during shipping...got to be lucky...and ..fast

emerald crab with a snail...looks as though the crab bullying the snail..but actually it is the snail who crawled to the place where the crab was eating ....hehe the crab eating algae is very cute to watch....its big claws plucking algae off the rocks is very stylo...lol
