oh yeah.. anyway, i managed to push my PH to 8.2 from 8.0 since yesterday morning at slow intervals and it is constant today using the sea chem reef buffer...and then move the DKH to 10 using the reef builder....will monitor again next few days.....
-
now got 6 purple queens...1 yellow tang...1 sailfin tang....and the 8 cardinals.... all quite small relative to the tank volume...anyway....not much fishes that i want to buy liao..got a moorish idol from ML few days ago..now quarantine in my 4ft tank coz got some white spots since its arrival in ML...it is still eating but dunno can fight it off or not...henry say give it the good stuff that he is feeding so far and see how it goes...

all the way bro..but the chiller not 24 hours working lah..a few hours on..then off...then on again..i din really monitor how long it operates and how long it switches off also..but i set my temp quite high...only about 27degrees...dun want to pamper my corals and livestock too much... in case anytime the chiller fails due to no power, at least the change of temp from 27 to ambient is much less than from let's say 25 degrees to ambient...

not too sure...about 30 to 40..bought alot of stuff together with these long time ago..so cant remember also this one got up to seconds display...normally timers only show up to minutes..but not that it makes a big difference..hehe
-
i managed to put these 2 side by side...just managed...not perfect fit though...yes...depends on the spacing of the extension sockets and also the width of the timers also...
-
yeah...they are known to move around...some species more than others...but generally if you want to avoid trouble and stress to yourself...dun get one..hehe
-
she is just acclimatising to your tank and water and once she is happy, if she is happy, she will come out for light..usually..she will plant her foot in some dark crevice and then push her tentacles out for light..monitor for about a week...every day try to see if she is still alright...try peeping in to check if she hasnt turned into a mush.... give her time..
-
yeah...heard coralfarm got new anemones and seahorses..lol may wanna go also..but see how lah...maybe just hang around at home and do some maintenance cleanup on my tank
-
dose and check with a testkit..then at least more safe..hehe
-
haha..better sleep early since you are ill....me going to sleep soon too..yawn....hehe
-
yeah..all from same person anyway, will take quite a long time to use up a bottle of calcium plus or kalkwasser..hehe better underdose than overdose..
-
i think around 420 is an ok level lah..dun want it to get too high also....think i just get some seachem reef builder to push up the carbonate hardness to around 10 first..hehe
-
will dosing of kalkwasser increase the DKH? the labels keep saying maintain calcium and DKH levels....but maintain and increase is different right? maybe i must push up the DKH to let's say about 10..using those carbonate hardness stuff and then use kalkwasser to maintain the readings ah.... haha..got more things to learn liao
