much more expensive than coral sand definitely, normal shops may not have this kind of beads as not many people will want to use them....except maybe for sandblasting purposes but you go along looking for those glass companies...they will be able to point you in the right direction... but..the cost is really much more than sand...hehe

it will draw water from one end of my current sump and then overflow water back to another end of the sump...so the clam tank becomes more or less like a filter...lol

no lah....just a simple 2 by 2 foot base of about 1 foot height with an overflow box...putting it on the chiller cabinet if do the henry type, i need the cabinet to be much shorter...coz my cabinet level is already very high..if the clam tank is more than 1 foot height, need chair to see the clams already...lol

will be making a simple but proper clam tank for my clams....finally a house that they can call their own..hehe
