  1. why delay ya LS will die? your 3ft tank quite alright mah
  2. yeah..played that few years back as well....even had the initial D trueno cover and i even spray it exactly and even made the japanese tofu shop words myself..... really burnt alot of rubber then at those fort road carparks playing with my frens....hehehe
  3. yeah..quite true.... but as long as it works...no matter wat flow rate hor...hehehe coz yazid using a 3000plus l/hr powerhead if i am not wrong to run the same skimmer and it works as well for him
  4. sometimes got such colours..but the polyps dun open up...and some damage along the way...so its quite rare to have a nice one lor..... bro williamuk has an awesome piece....
  5. generally, tanks under 6ft dun need...they just consider it as a piece of funiture in the house.... but dun put in balcony, put against the wall in the hall or bedroom.... coz the balcony's loading strength is not too strong...
  6. finally! got hold of a proper purple gorgonian..... bro williamuk: if you ever read this, still nowhere close to your show specimen...but getting there
  7. oh..anyway...with regards to cocoworm, there was one incident few months back when almost the same thing happened, i was scaping some rocks in my 2ft tank when i broke the calcerous tube, exposing half the worm.. dun ask me what i did after that
  8. haha...was just following his direction and cue but better to be explicit and get the point across...than muddling through it and the other bros do not understand the seriousness of the problem
  9. yeah...doesnt hurt to monitor the tank whenever possible but anyway, from what i know so far, coco worm are not poisonous... it may be just the ammonia spike that harms the rest of the corals
  10. eeee...so gory... hehe..but then again..i think size of the tank is one of the reason why the other corals deteriorate so fast..... you are right also that the seriousness of the injury to the worm hasten the rotting process instead of slowly wasting away... but you look at it this way....using the same example...if a heavy object falls on you in your closed bedroom (2ft tank) and then your brain and watever spill out...will stench the room much faster than if the brick falls on you while walking in the open streets (ocean)...the air wun stench so much..only the localised area will get problems..but the rest of the streets in singapore or the world live on as usual... so firstly, if you have a nano tank and have many inhabitants, you must realise tat every little inhabitant can have a big consequence on the tank...and similarly, every single action you do can can have a big impact also....eg...dosing of chemicals...just take care not to overdose as the amount of water is not large enough to moderate the change
  11. actually how big is your tank? maybe coz the amount of rotting substance from the worm is higher than what your tank can handle..tats why the water quality drop very fast.... but if its a big tank..i dun see why a dying coco worm can cause so much damage....condolences

  13. slight correction....not the metal plate go bigger...but the shaft end into the wall will get bigger...hehe thus gripping the hole you drilled.... if i am not wrong...its a 10mm size right? start by drilling a 10mm hole and try to fit into the hole... it may be hard to put it in....but its damn secure and definitely can hang heavy stuff and reminder..dun overtighten....coz it will expand and expand till the spring inside may get damaged and then you end up with a permanent hook on the ceiling..hehe as for the ceiling..i see that there are not so lump areas...drill into those non lumpy areas...
  14. wah..the red blasto is out of this world
  15. none so far..only small ones at lck110 ...sigh... i still miss the ultra maximas at PR last time
  16. haha...... wah..tang police in here...for every tang that die in our tanks..must get spanked by a cane by bro dispar
  17. really need alot of luck to get one that is long living like morgan's.... first tank parameters must be so damn good..... secondly..the LUCK to get a good specimen....
  18. oic...yeah.. i noticed that the size and teardrop very nice....but really white spot and fin problem like AT mentioned.... but glad it found a great home in glare's tank
  19. actually come to think of it..the prices quoted on the sites..almost same or even more expensive than places like ML already... so if there isnt much difference, should definitely support honest LFS owners like henry who takes the trouble and risk to bring them in for us
  20. wat causes the fins deteriorating ah...fin burn due to ammonia during shipping ah? dunno if its the AT i saw at ML some weeks back with the 2 giant cleaner shrimps
  21. yeah...why dun we do a bulk order and apply for the ava license and split the costs?
  22. then mai tu liao..go order 100 frags of red yuma or red floridas.... sure will earn one....lol...selling $100 per frag...LOL...sure can cover your cost :PPPP
  23. very nice cabinet leh..wat a waste..sigh
  24. coz your tank big enough...so anytime the sohal turn aggresive, the AT can go and hide for a while... but if its a smaller tank...simply by looking at the fierce lines of the sohal will send the AT into a visual shock already....heheh but great tank, great lighting and great SPSs inside
