  7. tat i am not so sure..there are many resources on how to set reactors in the net....and i am sure it comes with an opertaing manual..hehe but i heard macro one not so good if you have a big tank..but 2ft tank should be ok i guess....
  8. wah..then maybe even the macro calcium reactor will do fine for u...but it may be near its limit..hehe tat one only about 100 i think

  11. if bro tanggy is here, he will tell u that tempered glass is good enough to block off harmful UV rays but i disagree slightly from him...i find that tempered glass is good for strength and anti-splintering but does not remove UV rays by alot..especially if using 400W lamps...maybe using tempered glass with 150W or 250W may be ok... well...but i dunno..hehe
  12. wah...really nice... but hor...abit dark leh...cannot really see the vibrance of all the colours...can brighten abit? hehe... but wow....all i can do is
  13. not very effective also...but helps abit maybe.. but remember they strongly advise not to look at the light and cover the flap when u do your photocopying
  14. in fact, lexxan has many many models that can block UV..not only thermoclear...but most can tahan up to 100degrees only... really bo bian...i last time used one piece...it warped until it fell out of the holder for the glass....hahaha
  15. but there is this heat problem....the acrylic may not take extended heat periods well..hehe it can take up to 100degrees before degradation..but if u notice any drop of water on the MH glass will turn into steam immediately..meaning more than 100degrees liao... "Lexan Thermoclear sheet has a continuous-use temperature of 100°C. At the other end of the scale the minimum continuos- use temperature has been set at -40°. However, using Lexan Thermoclear at lower temperatures is possible since the embrittlement temperature is as low as -110°C. " so....not viable..hehehe
